    Jo doosra waala P hume MN bahaane k baad mila wo focal length k baraabar kaise ho skta hai? . Focal length toh pole se focus tak ki distance hoti hai... Aur jis P ko aap consider kar rahe hai wo pole nahi hai. Wo eik point hai jo MN draw krne k baad mila

      +Amit Mlshra there is no need for marking centre of curvature in this derivation but if u want to mark put centre after the obkect is placed.

      Exterior angle theorem use karo usmai 2 bar, and approximation use karo for small angle tan theta is nearly equal to theta ho jayega

    Sir pole toh centre of curvature of radius hota hai na... Lkin aap nai phir MN construct kiya aur MN jahaan pe principal axis ko touch krti hai aap nai uss point ka naam bhi P rakh diya wo point toh pole k aage hai, aap nai usska naam bhi P rakha jab ki P peeche bhi hai jo ki asli pole hai aur ussi P se F tak ki distance focal length banti hai. Na ki aage waale point P se F tak

      This is a derivation of lens maker formula, there is no need to know in derivation that where should be object be placed, where should image form, for this derivation, and this is not image tracing this is derivation of mirror equation.

      I dont think that in this derivation there is need for that ray that passes through centre, you can take any two ray from object to do this derivation, while in this case this derivation is done without using ray passing through centre, only ray that is parallel to principle axis and ray that is passing through focus is taken, so in this derivation there is no need to show centre.
