@@7thson726 They always look so good! I heard you mention you bought same of that awesome terrain, can you vaguely remember the cost of, for example the road sections, just wanted to see if it was something within my price range.
@@blahblah-hw3xg the roads are from Last Valley and are about £1.50 for each section i think. The Hedgelines and the river are also from there. You can find him on Facebook, he often has deals but the best way is to message him for a quote, it can take a couple of weeks to come through as he is very busy i think but its totally worth it 👍

Thanks Gents, Wow... that was a chaotic & confused slug fest, but that reflects fighting in built up areas, I think the zone mechanics work very well. The terrain, the command stands, the banners & the casualty markers make these games so visually splendid! Saved watching this one for a long journey I made on Thursday which, coincidentally took me through Cambridge and your Manor. Sadly didn't see any Suffolk or Neville banners. Thanks Martin👍👍

Superb as always. As others have said, the table layout really adds to the game. I'm finding myself fully back into WotR now (with lots of painting) to the exclusion of all other projects... :)

Holy crap. This is the BEST battle report I've seen! You've really out done yourself on this one. I love that you've also used a reference map to make your battle field.
This was such a brutal rugby match of a fight it feels live youve really captured that late 15c slogfest

Fantastic battle report really like the the idea for capturing commanders and the terrain is great and makes the game very immersive 👍
We had alot of fun playing this one. The capture of commanders does allow a bit more of a narrative to develop which is always nice 👍

great report, felt very wars of the roses - your system seemed to find a good balance between abstracting difficult terrain issues and keeping the relevance of the units/figures etc. Very enjoyable!

Just been to Towton Battlefield very interesting to walk around
Its a really visually striling place i find. Especially the area around the Cock Beck where the rout happened
@@7thson726 it certainly is and you cant help think about the people that were involved in the battle while walking it, lots of information boards which was good as well, couldnt help myself but popped up to marston moore whilst there as well, not as good but still good to go.

A table like that for a couple of hour game is so deceptive - a thousand hours of toil to get to that, I’m sure. Just amazing. Very grateful and decidedly inspired. Any recommendations for where to find historical buildings like that from either of you would be sincerely appreciated… because now I need to build a suburbs apparently.
Your not wrong about the time but when it's all laid out like this its completely worth it. Alot of my buildings are from Tabletop Workshop and Perry miniatures (i use the cottage and add bits to vary them) Robin had some Sarissa buildings and some nice resin ones, I'll ask him where they came from as I've forgotten 😁👍

So I guess Essex will be a prisoner to make shure that the defenders in the siege just don't kill Neville off at the first sign of trouble.
There is a few options in store for Essex, may have to put up a community vote for his fate 👍
