As a 47 Gen Xer, it just brings tears of joy to my eyes to hear the 80's sound I grew up on make such an awesome comeback. It's really cool to see the millennials enjoy so much of the music, movies, and other things of my generation. Makes me not feel so old...

Trust me, it’ll all be worth it in the end. You’ll know it paid off when everyone hates you. Lol of course I’m just being an idiot but I learned it’s better to share an artist that deserves it and help them in their success than to try in vain to keep them a secret. If an artist gets big and makes mistakes like selling out or doing horrible ill-conceived collaborations it’s on them so I try not to let it affect my enjoyment. Sorry I know I’m rambling. I can't get enough of the scene at 1:46 : the rythm, the slow motion, the acting, the facial expression, the eyes, the pose, the angle ...everything is done perfectly and makes a creepy scene become aesthetically pleasing. i'm no artist but i'm still in awe, this song has been on repeat for days !!
My only criticism is that the video doesn't really match the song. That being said, I want to see a TV show based on whatever the heck is going on in this video.

I love that synthwave has made it into pop. It reminds me that the stuff I’m into is always a year or two ahead of pop culture. I absolutely love these 80’s synthwave drums with almost disco basslines and 80’s synths. Just amazing!
Ditto. In my case I fell in love with this genre back when Kavinsky, Chromatics, Electric Youth etc. created it and it was the soundtrack to the film ‘Drive.’ It was inevitable that people were ready for a “new wave” of sound just like the late 70s into the early 80s.
We must thank Drive and Stranger Things for enabling the return of this new Retro-Synthwave era and all the cool bands that come with it.

Check out "Love Comes Quickly" (Ultrasound Version - 9.5 minutes long) from the Pet Shop Boys. That song in my opinion is the best track they ever released and never got the recognition it should have.
We saw them in Oklahoma City last month and it was unbelievable. Going to see them again in September. We just recently discovered them a couple months ago. Not often that I love something the first time I hear it, but Cannons is it!

Saw them in concert. The way Michelle owns the stage is freaking incredible. What's even better is that there were people in the audience from preteens to in their 60s. That's how appealing their sound is.

After all the negative things I've been dealing with in 2021 going into this year as well as losing my dad in January, I've been really depressed. But this song helps me escape from everything.
