Do they have inversed polarity? from the looks of it, they both move away from each other. If i'm not mistaken that cancels a lot of the bass.
It is from the shutter speed of the camera, they move same in real

Well, it is not a good option, go with 2 z906 they are better. For the connections i played them with adapter 2 auxilary inputs to 1

they actually could be as afaik they both have digital signal processing (which most smaller logitechs, and well, even the Z2300 and Z623 dont) which can introduce latency in one set vs the other just enough to cause phase issues

let me tell you one thing: The control panel of the z5500 EQs like crazy. By removing it (there is a ton of information on the internet) you can unleash it's true potential 👌.
There is also a mod you can do to the mainboard itself (replacing the big caps, google for 'Almi's z5500 mod' or something. Make sure you use Elna or Nichicon caps 😉).
I have designed my own DSP and the sound changed dramatically. It's like day and night!!! On some titles the bass is even way too much for my taste. It's like there is ONLY bass.

For max volume 5500 is better. But low volume the bass is much better for 906. I always did think 5500 sounds like a sealed box.

@@dstefanovxd1290 my system is all from ebay Sry my englisch 😅 my system with Canton speakers and klipsch subwoofer and the amplifier I Pay 800 euro. Save up some money and you can buy something better. Believe me. Logitech is shit the little speakers have no really sound I have the z5500 10 years ago and it will broken after 1 year 😒
@@dennisreuter2598 my system it 2000 plus euro total investition in my all setup audio and it based only top sound system Logitech it play down to 25 Hz with good spl it go down to 23 Hz with smaller spl it play up to 16 khz to a big spl and smaller spl 18 khz 🙂

You should build better boxes for them if you actually want to get better bass extension from them. Like 1 cu ft for the Z906 and 1.5 cu ft for the Z-5500 with a true 30Hz tuning. Those stock boxes use a non-linear reflex tuning; the port loading frequencies may be 35-40Hz but the boxes are too small to properly resonate at even those kind of frequencies, let alone the 28Hz you're trying to play here.

Unfortunately you connected the lower subwoofer incorrectly. The membrane moves inwards is a sign that the right channel has been swapped for the left. You can of course leave it that way, but the subwoofer will get damaged after a while. The bass is also reduced by it.
No, in subs the 2 channel signals are mixed into a single mono signal. But, of course there is an error, the cables of the audio + - signal are inversed, causing a polarity inversal.
