[2023/31] Deerfoot Trail - Calgary, Alberta (Highway 2 Southbound)

Calgary Freeways - Today we revisit Calgary's busiest highway; Deerfoot Trail, carrying Highway 2 south. We drive through the largest city in Alberta, and the 5th largest metro area in Canada.
In the near future, Deerfoot Trail will be further widened with interchange upgrades, proposed to be complete by the end of the 2020s.
We previously visited Deerfoot Trail in videos [2021/23], [2022/18].

I love your videos. Hands down the best road channel I've seen. The Deerfoot ended at Marquis of Lorne Trail in the 1980s and 1990s until it was extended to join with Macleod. The Marquis of Lorne Trail was present day Stoney Trail. It was only 2 lane for most of the time 2 and 22X ran concurrently.
