My manual says that is a ramp key on the side so you're absolutely right about that. Just got mine today, got the same color as yours. The only difference in mine is the little spring loaded retainer on the muzzle guard mine is in the guard and has little holes in the main guard plate that goes in the end, not sure if it will keep it tight yet but I've heard of people putting a drop of lock tight on the threads. Put a red dot on mine just need to get a good bright light. Much appreciate your video it helped.
Thank you. For break-in, I burned through about 200 rounds in a couple of range sessions. Since then, the only issues I have are with anything under 1200 FPS loads.
I used 2¾" 1450 fps shot shells to beak mine in and now I'm able to use the 2 ¾" 1250 fps from Walmart 3" shot shells still give my issues but 2¾ so far have been perfect. I haven't tried 2¾" 1200 fps yet.

Did your hand gaurd have a 2mm allen head screw on the top back end of your Boss 25?

It's a fun gun definitely, but they are picky
