It should be a MANDATORY rule that all idols get to go home once a month for a week unless they are on tour. I think it would not only help the idols mentally and give them a break, but also help them not have regrets.
@@cardibqueenofslurs It really isn't. The only thing unrealistic about it is that the fans will not be okay with it which is the main problem Their desperation to see idols all of the time is the reason the industry is the way it is
Hwasa didn't get time off for when her uncle died, either. He was her one relative in Seoul, and would check in regularly and try to help her and the other members of Mamamoo with all kinds of things when they were trainees. He died very suddenly in an accident, and they were all devastated, but had to keep working. The song Be Calm on the Yellow Flower album is for him, and about her experience trying to process such a loss.
I feel so bad for all these idols, but I feel bad especially for Hwasa. It must be hard to be in her grandmother’s house, whom she was very close with. She’s so strong ❤
I feel the worst for Ailee! Oh my god to have both of your parents pass away when you're so young is my biggest nightmare. I have a single mother and she's in her late 50s (I'm 22), and every so often I dread her passing away or her psychological condition decaying from old age. It's my greatest fear, I can't imagine what it'd be like to lose both of your parents in such a short timeframe! She's so strong to still be able to work. I don't know how I'd function.
Then you have to become strong too! You need to change your mindset. Does fear of losing someone gonna help anyway? You're feeling that negative energy on all your body and brain which will impact negatively in real life and will attract negativity. So, you must start to feel that your mother is so fit and healthy... that you're so happy to spend your time with her... this happiness is making your mother younger and more healthier. Be brave and conquer your fear and enjoy your life. May god bless you and your mother💕
For some reason I was waiting for ladies code’s story where they celebrated one of the member’s birthday with choco pie cake as they had a shoot that day but they didn’t eat the cake as they were on a diet and then they got in an accident and lost two of their members. The surviving members regret not having that cake.

Being one of the Kpop fans who started stanning since 2nd gen, 2nd and 3rd gen idols will always have a special place in my heart. My heart aches for them
My grandma was staying in an house near mine. She was sick but I thought not that much. One day my mother ask me to visit my grandma. I procrastinate and always delay the visit. At least I say to me "I will go tomorrow". That night my grandmother died. I can't give her a goodbye or visit her a last time for my laziness. It was ten years ago but I still regretting not visiting or talking to my granny that day...
Idols are human, they all have real lives and regrets about things, that's normal but the idols careers do come first and with such busy schedules, they miss out on spending quality time with their families so it's understandable they feel regret about that especially when family members pass away and they are not there for them
Stories about losing parents breaks my heart the most cuz I know how it feels . It's the most painful feeling u can experience . Everyone should take good care of their parents and spend time and make precious memories with them .
The song that Mamamoo had comeback with at the time was Aya. I remembered I was so impressed at Hwasa’s stage presence and how powerful she was during every stage comeback of Aya without knowing what she had to face at the time. She’s so strong god
When I saw that episode of ILA with Hwasa I balled my eyes out. Knowing how close she was with her grandma and how she wasn’t able to be there with her broke me.
So heartbreaking. Who knows of the many other idols who haven't share their own stories of grief or sadness or loneliness. I wish the companies paid more attention to their mental health. Although is not only in this industry that the mental health issues of an individual is often overlooked. Sending love to all humans having some kind of m.i. 🙏
I felt so bad for all the idols they came so far just to pursue their dreams and not have enough time to spend with their loved ones and its so sad bcz its really difficult to stay away from ur family and i knkw it must be really hard for them its not an easy journey but they all are so strong and they all overcome it and achieve all the things with their parents support so im happy for them
That is bad for these idols are going through then and still going through now. They were busy while Sunmi was training to be an idol but passed away before she debut was a bad timing but she have brothers to look after
It seems South Korean people have difficulty expressing their true feelings be it with family, friends or enemies. They are too worried about being this perfect representation of a human that doesn't exist. They rip themselves apart more than the antis do. The management companies they are signed to as well have no concept of work-life balance. Sure they are there to make music, etc...but they have families and if family is the most important thing to people and what these companies say, then it is not reflected in their value system. Ignoring what's important will leave you heartbroken and filled with regret, that you can't do anything about when the moment has passed. They need to train them to say what they want when it needs to be said and not have fear of reprisal.
These story’s or idols being separated from their family’s are far to common I remember when sowon the leader of gfriend lost her father and she was only able to to take a very short amount of time off to grieve before going back to activities
2nd gen bg and gg had this bond w each other, and KARA was close w Bigbang just like SNSD. There were many episodes/stories such as Taeyang's "dating" rumor, Daesung's love story in Family outing, etc. Hara was also close w GD too. What makes me sadder eas realizing that Bigbang was also friends w Shinee, Daesung and Onew in particular. Idk, stories around Gen 2 idols hits hard bc it seems like each idol wasntruly friends and close.
i'm lucky I didn't lose anyone during Covid but regardless if I was going to or not, I would still visit them. Why should I listen to the government when they dont care about me or my family?
Taehyung, I wish you did not come to our country during that time. We will understand, we would have been happier seeing you smile with her even one last time. She was aand still is a great grandma.
Can you do a video showing about the haters of kpop and how they take it to far as engene2/Sunghoon Hater 2 on TH-cam because they take it too far and I want everybody to know about how horrible this is
Now i feel like job as an idol is not normal job. I mean, if you have normal job when your relative passed or some accident happened you can have excused to off work. But as an idol that famous you cant do that. Even durung period idol cant show their pain expression.
Usually this channel does news about kpop, but when BP was chosen as Headline Coachella, you didn't mention, are you embarrassed to admit success? Because before that VDO you just said they had a problem.
