That Vintage Anesthia Equipment is probably the strangest thing I have seen at a sale for a long time. I am curious as to why anyone would buy and keep that. Very unusual settings for sales!
Those 2 large wing chairs with the eagle pattern were probably made during the early american trend of the 70's. Ethan Allen, Pennsylvania House etc.....sold that type of decor. Samantha Stevens on Bewitched would be all over those for her and Darrin's house.
Yes!! Those chairs were fun! There was also an old light fixture with a similar patriotic theme. I'm guessing those things were in the same room at some point. Neat stuff!
That red room was really creepy. I wonder if that was where the anesthesia equipment came from and the walls were painted red to cover up any blood spatter ?.....🤣
EEK!! I think it was just a room for the basement sump pump, but you have a vivid imagination! And believe me, I thought the anesthesia equipment was beyond weird!

That's where I've always wanted to buy a house at :) There are a few neighborhoods back home that remind me of Bonnie Brae (Vickridge, Lambsdale, Westlink, etc) Hahaha the creepy basement - if a sale comes up at my old house in college hill (137 N Oliver) I promise you this basement will look like childs play - that basement in that house we owned was AWFUL and scared me and my kids all the time! :D
No, this one was farther south on Woodlawn (a few blocks south of Kellogg.) We've been to several sales in Bonnie Brae, and it's a lovely neighborhood for sure! Our old house in Crowne Heights also had a creepy basement, eek!! We've seen some wild stuff at these sales, that's for sure!

If you don’t mind me asking, how do you find out about these sales? Are there certain apps you use? Or sites? I’m asking because here in FL the goodwills, flea markets, and thrift shops are becoming bone dry when it comes to good finds. So I’m not sure the best way to go about those things.

Around here, estate sales are common practice and often run by the families themselves. Either that or they hire a company to run the sale, but only after the family has removed any items they wish to keep. Sometimes we meet family members on-site at the sales who are happy for their loved one's belongings to be put to good use in someone else's home. I get what you're saying, but I like to think of it as a way to allow these objects and personal possessions to find a new place. After all, you can't take all that stuff with you!
