We’re back with more Privateer Project content from last season to cure the off-season blues! Episode 6 of Wyn’s Privateer Project takes you back to Loudenvielle, where the racers ripped into a fresh track in the heart of the French Pyrenees. Wyn and the GT team bring on South African downhill racer Connor Finnis for the week, after managing an impressive 24th place in finals of the prior round at Pal Arinsal. Living in Durban, South Africa, Connor dedicates his summers to traveling to European World Cups by van while wrenching his own bike. Get to know Connor as he chases the dream to Loudenvielle and gets a taste of factory support!

Go Wyn and Connor! The Privateer Project is more important every year. If privateers were no longer aloud in world cups everyone would be loosing out and MTB would loose a rich part of it's culture.

You're doing not just a good thing, but a feckin' awesome thing! Why UCI (whoever!) can't see that privateers are the pro's of tomorrow is beyond me ...
When I raced motorcycle sidecars we got help from Yokohama, the impact of that was we went from maybe top 10 to top 5 immediately .. A full package may have changed my world, but injury etc cut it short ...

DH needs a privateer team made up of ALL the privateers so they can ALL race. Everyone could chip in for the team race fee, run what ya bring bike wise with help from some parts manufacturers for consumables and that way Warn a brotha can’t stop them or stop our beloved sport from progressing. Just think no more Josh Frotha and how sad it would be. Fantastic work from Wyn and GT last and all the sponsors who helped 🤘❤️🌈🕊️🌍

Downhill needs to separate from the UCI. Every decision they make is the worst one.
