Great video. I'm looking to get a Ranger Raptor and was wondering about towing with a similar sized travel trailer. Answered a lot of questions for me.
Looking at this as a first tow vehicle for my daughter. I tow our toy hauler with 2 RZRs and bikes with a GMC Denalli 3500 so this should allow her to tow one of them on an enclosed trailer nicely to go out with friends. I recommend air bags on anything towing, I even have them on the 1 ton.
With that amount of sag in the rear end, I'd bet your WDH is not set up correctly. Usually with a WDH set up correctly your truck and trailer should be level. Nice video.
The Lariat is a solid choice too. It tows more and has a higher payload. I guess it depends on your needs. For me, the raptor is extremely fun both on and off road and very versatile. It fit my needs. It’s more than I wanted to pay, but I don’t feel ripped off either.

I guess it would help a lot if you'd use the paddle shifters going up/down.
Thumbs up for the shades 😂

Nice setup, what was the average mpg of the trip?
I forget off hand, but I know it’s in the video somewhere 👍
What year model is this. I have the same car in Australia and it says that tow haul mode not available on Ranger raptor
It’s a 2024. The first year of them in the US
Nice 👍
You were not using cruise control. You were using LIM which is a speed limiter. That's why it is beeping and cutting off your throttle.
Correct. As stated in the video later on 👍
How does it feel with tractor trailers passing. Do you get the push pull feeling.
Yeah, you still get a little but not near as bad as my Jeep. I think it’s more the shape of my camper than anything.
I got Ranger Lariat; I don't offroad and just wanted a truck for DiY woodworking, I am tempted to go Raptor. What do you advice?

What are the products used to make that coffee tho?

You can change or even turn off that over speed nanny
I figured that out about half way through 😂🙃
@@OverlandExposures I saw that I should have watched more of the video before commenting. Enjoyed the video and I enjoy my Ranger Raptor

Can it tow? 😭😭😭 meanwhile in Europe we are towing caravans with a 1.4 ltr Skoda Octavia’s and VW Golf’s…..
I have a RR and Im getting a Minnie Winnie 1720FB. Ill be right at Max tow for my RR. Will see how this goes.
@@firebry23 It’s gonna do just fine but you’ll be burning a lot more fuel and you might want to look into some airbags for the sag. 👍
@OverlandExposures my BIGGEST complaint about my RR is the fuel tank size. It should have come with a 25gal tank
