Great review thanks. A couple months ago I put a ranger raptor on order at my local dealership (no deposit, no dealer doc fees, no obligations, and NO MARK UP!!!). I am still on the fence until i actually get some hands on time with the truck. I would potentially be trading in my 2023 F150 Raptor as like you said the Ranger version would seem to fit my lifestyle better (especially in payment where it would be $200+ less per month). I am curious if anyone can tell me if they have made a similar transition and how it has gone. I appreciate you telling us your height...I am also 6'3" so it is nice to see that you appeared to have plenty of room. A couple of knocks that i don't understand...why no ventilated seats? The F150 version has them. But i did check and you can't get ventilated seats in the bronco raptor either. wondering if there is an engineering reason. Also i did not notice in the video...is there ambient lighting? If not that is a dig too. Not a big deal just shocked its not there.
I’m more upset with the lack of ventilated seats and no old man bed step. Those are awesome comfort features. Make sure you attend the Raptor Assault Program.
Man really wish this had ventilated seats and a powered rear sliding window. It’s literally what’s stopping me from wanting one. If it had those plus the performance tune it would be the perfect truck.
That's a perfect sized truck for most people who won't be using them for work. Very cool and not that expensive. Of course, how reliable is it? That's the only question I would ask.
@LuisRamirez-ln3cj.. I have a 2020 Ford Explorer ST that has been tuned within months of buying it. Four years later I have ZERO powertrain issues with this truck, even though I drive it like I stole it at times. I ordered a 2024 Ranger Raptor as well, back in 2023, because I'm already familiar with the powertrain. I was getting 11 MPG on my 2021 6-Inch lifted F-150 Lariat, while I average 14-15 MPG in mixed driving on the Ranger. Yeah, my Lariat had way more bells and whistle's than the Ranger Raptor, but the RR is a lot more manageable and better riding on the road. Hell, I can ever get the RR in my garage! Try that with a lifted F-150! The 3.0L engine is the right size for this truck, and I doubt there will be any reliability issues with it.
You but that reinforcement kit for your weak bed rails? 88lbs the limit unless you install those reimbursement brackets that Ford shameless provides as an accessories add-on. If you want to put a decent cap or camper on that thing, or anything 88lbs or more, add that kit.
I tell you what I do like that ranger raptor and the price is right. But now that the new v8 raptor is out You can pick up the v6 raptor at a good deal.

The BRaptor seems to have more off-road, rock crawling features. The removable doors and roof, bigger interior appeals to a different buyer. The Bronc is cool, Ranger is cool too. Just different missions Imho.
The price can be lower, because of economy of scale. This is a global vehicle, and the Braptor not. That's besides the fact that the Bronco is designed to be modular and have removable parts. In assembly alone the Ranger Raptor is far cheaper because a normal Ranger assembly plant can accommodate a Raptor Ranger.
Your dad? or buddy, is SO wrong. The "average" person is not buying a ranger raptor. Its the people that would actually take care of it. But that under 60k F150 single cab with a Whipple though

New Tacomas are having transmission issues. 4x4 without bumpstomps. Watch TFLs TH-cam about this. Only way the raptor can be worse is if they have Tundra engine and transmission issues. Toyota reliability has taken a vacation. I'm a huge Toyota fan, I own a 97 Lexus LX450. If I will have something that's not reliable, I'd rather have the extra HP at about $6-$7k less.
