I love how he wants to be funny and silly but he's so generally anxious that he always just ditches and goes back to being straight faced. It's hard to articulate but as someone with a similar disposition its very easy to notice.

But, Robert, people who cannot swim not necessarily will swim when you throw them into water. My acquaintance told me how she went to bottom of river like a stone, when her friends threw her on depth. They jumped to save her then.

I feel that part of some of his smart Alec answers over the years come from apparently totally IDIOTIC interviewers. They ask the silliest questions. He doesn’t have much patience with that so his only response really could only be sarcasm. lol
How the fuck did Robert make it through the interview with the Greek presenter at around 7:00 to 8:00. It would have been excruciating. But he somehow nailed it. I think Robert likes a drink, and it helps.
Robert is amazing, but the ‘everybody can swim’ claim isn’t true. I did what he said when I was 8 years old and nearly passed out and drowned. I was rescued and told off very harshly by a racist swim pool guard who probably would’ve left me to drown if other witnesses weren’t around.
