Great video my friend. Recently purchased this meter to keep in my car. Handy having usb-c charge port so can easily keep its battery topped up using the accessory socket and my phone cable. Good to see the 2,600 mAh battery. Overall a nice meter.

I think the manual describes another type (SEL button). Since there is no such thing, the solution described in the manual does not apply.

it so sorry we need to found out the meter for testing again,normaly we don't show how To cancel the APO ,just mean that we are not found the method sir,or you see another TH-cam first that maybe fast.and also when i found it and make answer to you.

It seems that the APO function cannot be turned off on this device.
Unfortunately, I have no contact with the manufacturer. :-(
Can you answer one more question for me?
It is described in the manual and on the back of the device that two types of fuses are required.
One ~600mA and one 20A fast fuse.
However, the device contains only one 5×20mm ceramic fuse. I don't fully understand this... Why are there two limits? Why doesn't it include two fuses?
Unfortunately, the size of the fuse on my device is not clearly visible (cannot be read). Can you help me in this? Thank you for your work!

Hi Wilson, So appreciate to your review, I'm wondering, which one is the last model of ANENG Multimeter 681, 682, 683, 683 Pro, and 621A? and can you make a compare video between 683 and 621A, and there is a Rechargeable AC, DC Clamp meter with the same spaces? Regards

Olá, ótimo vídeo, gostaria de saber se o 683, sendo tátil e tendo que esmagar a tela várias vezes, o dedo não fica marcado na tela ou não apresenta nenhum dano? Como a tela reage a toques repetidos com o dedo? , Depois de algum tempo de uso, não apresenta nenhuma falha?

I hesitate to take the famous, reliable and very simple AN8002. But I came across this AN683 touchscreen model with options that I don't really understand, being a beginner in electronics. I wonder if it is really useful to take this touchscreen version with many options.
Regardless of the price, the difference is not huge, but I really don't know... AN8002 or AN683... Being a beginner, is it worth it to directly buy this more complete model or if the AN8002 is already more than enough even when I have a lot more knowledge ?

Does this meter not auto-range on the resistance setting? It seems to be fixed at 0-599 ohms, with no means to adjust the range. Odd!
no.resistor range automatically adjust .
@@wilsonluilui The paper instruction manual included with the unit does not explain that the resistance function selected manually using the Select button (ohms symbol displayed) is the circuit test function rather than a manually-selected resistance function. Only the auto resistance mode auto-ranges.
Neither does the manual explain how to get the circuit test function. DC and AC V are available to select manually, so it was natural to assume a range with the ohms symbol is a resistance mode.
Nice video! What is the display screen made of? Plastic / Glass and is it scratch resistant?
sorry i don't know it just like normal lcd screen is glass made ,very easy to damage by forces on it.

Did you receive yours yet, if so, how well does it work? My biggest concerns are about the touchscreen part. I have a DMM like this, but previous model where the lower section of the screen is physical buttons and the buttons are probably the most unresponsive ones I've ever seen. In the video they seem to react a lot better, which got me thinking about this.
@@daapz The buttons are no problem at all, everything works well. The main issue for me is the lack of stand. The lack of manual resistance range is a bit puzzling at first, but you get used to it....

it no any adjust of the display,or you add a film to turn down the color.
when you use the DIODE mode @ 30:00 it should beep in forward diode configuration, but it didn't. So it is a GIANT FAIL for me

and if i choice this two meter,i will choice 683,because at my old eye ,the color one is good for reading the digital be the normal lcd screen ,but color meter 683 may be quick in battery low,for always ba cklight on.

How to test lead battery Ampere on this meter??
it use test lead series to your test load ,and you can see the current,use 10A input terminal & com terminal.
@@wilsonluilui I have used the mA, A (10A) and Com terminals.
I simply use the positive and negative sticks to contact the battery poles. But nothing shows on the meter screen. Am I doing it the right way?
If not, What is the next step to test my lead battery?
you can via the web found how to use current testing with multimeter,before you use a wrong way to do this ,it must series the load for testing .not for director testing on a battery ,because some battery the current is over 10A,it may broken your meter fuse or damage the meter,learn more and make a test sir.
