What people forget about SUMMERVILLE is that the games where he didn't perform was because he was marked out of the game by 2/3 players doubling up on him, that's how dangerous he was for us, opposition managers knew this & deployed this tactic to stop him... you stop SUMMERVILLE you then stop LEEDS 👌👍

Think i was the commenter Joe was talking about when mentioning sitting in on 1-0 leads. Never did I mention in that statement the outcomes of the games, all I said was far too often in the season we've gone ahead, then dropped into second gear and allowed the opposition back in. Never mentioned the scoreline, only the actions on the pitch.

Nah people need to remember, Gnonto was good for a MONTH in the prem.....
Scored 1 in early Jan, scored a couple in a cup game v Cardiff in between, then scored 1 in early Feb. That's it. 2 prem goals in the space of a month.
Did literally nothing afterwards and went off the boil for the remainder of the season, then was dropped for some of the last few games...
This 'Gnonto was carried us in the Prem' schtick is crazy.
Conor & Joe, I remember Orta put the name Ivan Toney to Radrizzani only 4M from Portsmouth, but the Italian didn’t want to pay it 😱

Gnonto played down left in prem and was our best player, and Cree played down left in champ and was our best player. Think about that for a moment. So if we can keep gnonto and play him down the left will he be our best player? Just maybe but I can't see him staying.

You're paying for the guarantee of Rodon being able to hit the ground running. We could sign a centre half for a fraction of that "from the continent" that absolutely flops. Then what? The 49ers will structure deal in our favour. It won't be £10m up front.

Wouldn't surprise me at all we could of loaned in January to reinforce the defence (and a spare striker) but didn't. Really want amps back in his main position. Beginning of season, week in week out he was motm there. Not saying that he wasn't great in cb just saying we had the opportunity but farke was happy to not bother bolster the spot

@@mattgoodall7213 agreed we need a good cb and rb imho and they need to hit the ground running. Get Archie and amps back in midfield. It's VERY nice to have them as options, but would hate to see us start the season with them both at the back again or for farke to put them back after just a couple of games

If 17 million is the most we can get for gnonto then I'd rather keep him n play him in his preferred position on the lw. He's under contract and we he has a sell on clause which we need to be mindful of.
It's ok Joe to say we dominate possession but that was last season but this season we don't have the same team so we may not dominate possession this season unless we get some good players in.
