They're both awesome, but I'd be interested to know if watching "Seven" before "The Usual Suspects" might set up in a person's mind that Kevin Spacey's character is not to be trusted? On another note, it amazes me that both movies came out in the same year.
@@WarrChan Haha yeah, there's a couple moments Verbal does something creepy that if you focus on it you get a feeling. "Hand ME the keys", and also when he ends the parking lot scuffle with a shot to the head and a cold stare. That's the one that made me a bit suspicious of him the rest of the film, but not sure.
It's because they think of it from a filmmaking perspective instead of allowing themselves to be contained inside the film itself. It's a terrible way to watch movies tbh but it's very common today with people wanting to ruin the experience for themselves.
The title of the film is a tribute to the movie "Casablanca" (1942), one of the most quotable movies of all time. Near the end the corrupt Police chief, played be Claude Rains says to officers arriving at a murder scene, "...Round up the usual suspects!"
My favorite reactors had a clue, followed more clues, had their doubts, back and forth...it was great! Thanks for letting us watch with you, and watch you work your way very well indeed through the murky fog of the story! Fantastic! Again, thanks so much for a fun time, and God bless you!
Wifey is the smart one, she got it first, and she always steps back letting him take the credit and telling his "big" life lessons 😂 (she sometimes even supresses the rolleyes)
The cigarette to the face was real, it was supposed to hit him in the chest. Total accident, the reaction was real. One of my absolute favorite movies. Awesomeness. Watch it a second time and really pay attention to Verbal's eyes throughout the interview portions of the movie, you'll really appreciate the acting.
Love when people kinda figure it out relatively early but they fight it in their mind until the end second guessing themselves while still having it in their minds... It has to be right.
You will see references to this in other movies where there is an elusive master criminal and someone will say something like "who is this guy, Keyser Soze?", "no one's ever seen him, like Keyser Soze", "then he pulled a Keyser Soze", "he always works through others, like Keyser Soze, or similar".
You need to do Kevin Spacey’s first film, Glengary Glen Ross. GREAT ensemble drama with Jack Lemmon, Al Pacino, Ed Harris and Alan Arkin. Awesome performances!
A very different Kevin Spacey movie that you will love, where he is not the villain is "American Beauty" 1999. You will love it! Thanks for the great reaction!!
A good clue to figure who Soze is that when he shoots Keaton he does it left-hahded. Throughout the film everyone shoots mainly right-handed. Verbal shoots right handed but that’s because he’s pretending to be a cripple.
@@ericdwills14 I'd say Alan Arkin as George had the least important role. We never see him do much except complain. Spacey had a few very interesting moments
You guys are great and I watch most of your reactions. However, who does the editing? The lineup scene is one of the better scenes of the movie. Wondering why it was cut out of the edit?
Great reaction to a great film. A couple of bits of film trivia for you. 1. The line up scene wasn't scripted. The lads had started, but started cracking up. So they just kept running & filming. When it came to editing it was easily the best cut & got included. 2. The ORIGINAL US cinema cut was only out for 2 days. It was recalled VERY quickly because someone noticed they had made a HUGE mistake. The end of the opening credits now reals; And Kevin Spacey. The original cut ended; And Kevi Spacey as Kaiser Serzai. Thus giving away the end of the film before it had even started. Oops
Sorry we did not include the scene during the line-up.. so here it is, our reaction to that scene: th-cam.com/users/shortsJ4BvKBlUBdQ
That must a world record time for guessing the entire plot of this film.
I'm convinced they watch it before ..but I like them to much to make such accusations lol
My cousin watched this for the first time and when Verbal says, “Hand ME the keys..” during the line up she said, “He’s the bad guy.”

The best description of this I ever heard was, it’s not a movie, it’s a magic trick.
Pay attention to the things Verbal DOESN'T do.
Serendipity ftw.
Love when people kinda figure it out relatively early but they fight it in their mind until the end second guessing themselves while still having it in their minds... It has to be right.
it was a rollercoaster of mind games!
You will see references to this in other movies where there is an elusive master criminal and someone will say something like "who is this guy, Keyser Soze?", "no one's ever seen him, like Keyser Soze", "then he pulled a Keyser Soze", "he always works through others, like Keyser Soze, or similar".
Of these two...the lady got it right incredibly quickly. You are among the VERY VERY VERY FEW who got it right...even if you were swayed a little.
OMG! Joy is the BEST!! .. Her facial expression\s, they get me every time. Haha!! Marion too!!!
you did a great job getting it! when i watched it the first time i didn't figure it out until right before Agent Kujan drops the mug lol.

Seven too.

my 2nd fave flick of all time 👀 this upload made me grin :)
Good one, M&J! Thanks for sharing it. 🙂
Great movie with a surprise ending no one has reacted to is Les Diaboliques (1956)
You cut the line up scene out??? 🤦🏾♂️
Another great Kevin Spacey movie is “Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil.” I think that you would love it.
The unreliable narrator tool is fantastic when done right.
exactly right! we loved it
If you like Kevin Spacey you'd really like Glengarry Glen Ross. Mostly shot in 1 setting. Hall of fame actors all over the place
Love that movie
Kevin Spacey plays the least important character in Glengarry Glen Ross. An amazing movie with much bigger stars and better characters.
@@ericdwills14 I'd say Alan Arkin as George had the least important role. We never see him do much except complain. Spacey had a few very interesting moments
Cool reaction guys, you both take care and have a good night
thank you so much!
@@MJoy4Fun My pleasure 👍
Nailed it! Beware the unreliable narrator.
Thumbs up already i was waiting for you guys to make my night better😊god bless both of you and the whole familly❤
You're the best!🤗
Verbal was the King of distraction techniques....talking without saying anything
Hope you do one for Analyze This (1999) It is hilarious! 😂
Next: " Identity"
Then " Basic"
Game over mon
Automatic like!!!!
Seriously you need to watch American Beauty with Kevin Spacey ...if you have not yet
we have not yet...
You forget while you're watching it that most of you're hearing, the so-called "facts", are from Verbal, not from a legitimate investigation.
exactly! lol! never thought of that.
The best ✌️
Kevin Spacey had to read the script 5 times before he started understanding the plot.
I hate the fact that you guys figured it out in the beginning!
not exactly figured it out.. we are guessing but nothing is certain.. just like in life! 😁
If you liked this movie, then you will enjoy "The Score" with Robert DeNiro and Edward Norton.
oohhh good cast. we will check it out
15:26 - What an aggressive ad for Pepsi!
Lmao

terribly sorry.. we have been having problems with yt blocking our videos. We got a little bit careful with the editing.
@@MJoy4Fun That is very understandable👍
i'm not even looking forward to watching this one, i know they're going to figure it out right away
oh no! you're going to miss it when Joy will say she is wrong! 😂
We need a Keyser Soze movie!
💙💙💙💙💙💙
✌cool.
The "unreliable narrator". It's a story-telling technique.
Bollywood _ Jawan Hindi movie srk please react
Shame. You missed out on a treat there

Nope she is 😅
*Please React evergreen movie "Sooryavansham (1999)", I'm 100% sure You won't regret, believe me,...*
Unwatchable editing
