It seems before she was really pushing herself to do that voice, although she was always soft-spoken, when she turned that voice off, you can hear the clear difference. It’s not ironic/humorous, it’s a very Japanese saying that doesn’t really translate well to English “Ne” at the end of sentence means “Right?” In English imagine someone trying hard to get you to agree with something and they end the sentence with “…riiiiight?” “Nanora” is Luna’s catchphrase, not exactly sure what the meaning is, seems like babble or some made up word. As for Luna herself she’s a bit dull in a sweet and simple way which gives context to her repeating a simple message with her “signature” on it every single time there’s a death All put together, it’s a cringingly sweet/overly familiar way of saying something (otsukaresama) that as a Japanese you would have hear thousands of times over a lifetime. Imagine working at a grocery store (in America) and saying “Have a good one” to customers a million times. Then putting a personal spin on it, “Have a good one there, alrighty?” every single time. It’s different enough to get noticed/singled out Why are the other girls laughing at it? They’re kind of making fun of her, not harshly, but sort an inside joke that Luna is the punchline of.
