    i think Marketing Myopia happens when the company or organisation focus only on product instead of focusing on customer needs and customer feedback and the company is not aware of new changes in market

      That is certainly a good start. But it's also about how you position your product or service in the marketplace. I find that marketing myopia needs to be addressed in the very DNA of an organization, and it starts with asking hard questions and looking objectively. 👍 Sometimes easier said than done.

      Great question!!! The short term implications are that the business will stagnate. We live in an age (especially now with Covid) where all companies need to be agile, pivot if necessary, and be engaging with their customers as much as possible. Companies that fail to do so will become "old" in their approach -- pushing out marketing messages in a one-way fashion, versus 2-way dialogue with their consumers, and eventually become obsolete.
