“I’m trying to keep myself alive, and that is a feat.” You said it! I hope you’ve been well since the making of this video. I have hEDS and was just recommended for several tests/procedures including the anorectal and esophageal manometry tests. Thank you for sharing your experience with candor and humor.
I have hEDS and I've just been admitted for a few days to the hospital for what they thought may have been a bowel obstruction. Even liquid and gas were struggling to pass. I found out in this few day stay that I have had a prolapsed disc in my lower spine for around a decade. I got out last friday but I've been referred for an Anorectal Manometry test too, and am also going to see ENT and Orthopaedics too. It's really horrid going through this all but thank you so much for putting this up. It's good to see other Zebras who know how crappy this feels. ❤️
Appreciate that all train stations aren’t the same but I’ve been in a wheelchair all week with a torn mcl, and have had to travel into central london on 2 trains each morning and they have been nothing but excellent at both ends getting me on and off the train :)
I have to say(from personal experience) that by the time you get to an anorectal manometry all dignity is gone... hope you are doing well, my anorectal manometry is in a few days.
