I just came from the cinema, and I can't express all the feelings and emotions that this movie evokes, it was a unique experience, and what's more, seeing and listening to the best song on the album (personally) like what Digital Love is, it was simply incredible! !!

Shep is such a well made character. Perfectly fitting of the style and time this was made in, totally an anime character you would have been invested in, a Spike (Cowboy Bebop) type. You've got the amazing 70s/80s inspired funk/soul sample, you've got futuristic robotic vocals, an EDM beat, an awesome supertramp inspired breakdown and climaxing with an AMAZING synth/guitar whatever the hell it is hybrid solo that would make Eddie Van Halen proud, It draws from so many different genres and blends them together seamlessly with a great song about longing, that's accentuated by the composition and feel of the music. As kids we was mostly fans of electronic music, but then the "Discovery" album came out with its rock oriented samples and paved the ground to rock and heavy metal for us in perhaps the strangest way possible. Its so sad seeing this video and then watching Something About Us. He was such a happy go lucky boy. A hopeless romatic. He did not hesitate when it came time to save his crush and the rest of the group. He sacrificed his life and eventually had the opportunity to briefly profess his love before succumbing to his injuries. This whole series was by far one of the best love stories ever created.

Thank you Daft Punk for all the awesome music througout the years. This song is basically the soundtrack of my youth. As kids we was mostly fans of electronic music, but then the "Discovery" album came out with its rock oriented samples and paved the ground to rock and heavy metal for us in perhaps the strangest way possible. To this day its hard to imagine the existence of our band and our musical direction without the influence of Daft Punk!

at the first year of uni i was going to a concert with the girl i liked and i was so excited. couple of days earlier from the concert day i had a dream where we were dancing just like in this song and it ended too soon when i felt the sun in my face, just like in the song. i woke up listened to this song on repeat again and again until the concert day.
