00:01 Nutrition has a significant impact on mental well-being
02:12 Chewing on things like pens or shirts can calm you down due to the connection with food
07:01 Excessive stress can hinder focus and attention, while a small amount of food can help induce calmness.
09:18 Hyperinflammatory state increases aging and has a negative impact on the whole body.
14:14 Nicotine affects attention and dependency on external molecules is not sustainable.
16:35 Training the mind and body to understand hunger is not a threat
20:12 Being mindful helps shift the balance to your prefrontal cortex (PFC)
22:11 Understanding the different stations in our mind and their impact on our mood
26:01 Make conscious food choices to avoid being a slave to impulsive cravings.
28:04 Let your PFC be in control for as long as possible
32:23 Understanding blood report: Hemoglobin as a marker for overall nutrition and ESR/CRP for inflammation
34:27 Low B12 levels can lead to low hemoglobin levels and impaired brain function.
38:24 Cholesterol's role is debated in causing atherosclerosis.
40:43 Cholesterol is not inherently bad, it is the body's way of solving a problem.
44:41 Food items like watermelons can have a vasodilator effect that may help in maintaining an erection.
46:50 Chocolate is not an aphrodisiac; it only acts as a mood stimulator.
50:35 Fasting shifts brain reliance from glucose to ketones, leading to increased focus and attention.
52:46 Power through the initial panic to tap into your body's hidden energy.

What an important topic. One of the most important podcasts. Our choices, physiology, psychology, decision making and anger. What an insight take a pause, write your feelings. I feel anger envious jealous frustrated with this person. You see it vanish right away. The road rage, if you ever had, take a pause and see what it can lead to Be conscious of your Actions and it ll be all fine. Hacking your brain to have it discipline. If want it to be your space not master. It’s taking all important decisions and you are driven by it. How many times we feel guilty whe we made wrong choices. Thanks
    Tanmay

Great video, perfectly explained! Another important aspect to take in account as to why we get sleepy after we have a heavy meal, is because much of the available energy in our body concentrates in our digestive system to carry out digestion of said heavy meal, as well as the suppression of the stress caused by hunger (stress and hunger don't allow the neuron circuit in the brain in charge of sleep to be activated). Loved the transparency and simplicity witch which concepts were explained, will be on the lookout for more content!

Hey Tanmay, this was a lovely video. Very precise & well explained. I have been watching a lot of videos and listening to a lot of Dr. Sid's podcasts. They're very comprehensive and informative. I have a humble request, if you could cover something on Auto Immune Diseases. Well, there's not too much information out there regarding auto immune condition. I was diagnosed with Lupus (SLE) back in 2019. And it's not like any other regular conditions. It's difficult to understand but I've gotten better with it. It would be of great help if you could get some information on such a condition that's very rare. A humble request to you and your team. Keep up the good work. :)

It is too simple yet specific:
      1. It has to be base flavour (which used to come in blue tin can) no added flavours.
      2. I can't add anything to it other than water, texture can be semi solid or liquid but no added sugar or dry fruits.
It hits different when your mouth remembers and traces the taste back from 25 years ago.
