8. season 5 terrible (boring, stupid, no direction)

4. season 1 alright (interesting but slow)
3. season 8 enjoyable (huge potential, worst writing at times, great moments, wtf moments)
2. season 3 pretty good (great story, great characters, slow a lot, complete as a season)
1. season 6 amazing (almost flowless, great story, characters, acting, good pacing)
Season 3 isn’t only the best of the this show but probably is on par with with the main show at its peak like season 1-3 if not better I can’t believe how they butchered it later on but either season 5 or 8 are the worst

@@ashwilliams7302I'm 18, have been watching since 1x1 first aired on Live Cable, have seen every episode multiple times, I think Season 6 is not only the best Season of Fear but arguably one of the best within TWD Universe As a whole.

I would get those "no impact" arguments if you didnt put season 4 and 5 above it :D Like first half of season 4 genuinely butchers all of old characters' personalitites, second half is mostly shit, season 5 is one big nonsense. And I don't even count all those great cinematics and soundtrack that went away.

I love how the writers just completely dropped and reversed Daniel's memory loss issues by simply having him slurp some memory juice when he came back in season 8. 💀

It was such a stupid storyline
It was good in Season 6A because it was Daniel using it as a lie but then the writers forgot that Daniel was lying about it so they actually made him have memory loss.
Then they reveal at the end of 6B that Daniel wasn’t being crazy and it was somebody tricking the group.
Then they forget that Daniel wasn’t actually having memory loss (again), then have him be completely brain dead in 7.
Then the writers didn’t like that so they gave him brain juice and made him normal again.

7 and 8 are enjoyable beside the shity writing that hits you a lot. S4 and 5 are boring for the most part and a lot of 5 isn't even watchable. So...... 7+8>>>>>>4+5 for me 😂😂
Be warned, most of this is heavily against popular opinion:
8. Season 3
- most of this season was trash, I don't know what people see in it at all. I think the cultural war over the farm is awful, everyone is super infuriating, especially their decisions, I only slightly liked Ep5 because of Madison and Ep13 because of Alicia, the rest was unbearable to sit through.
7. Season 2
- I totally agree that most of it is pointless, and I just didn't care whatsoever about anything going on throughout the whole thing, the last 4 episodes specifically are the worst episodes of the show overall for me
6. Season 5
- this is the first season that I'm not going to be just negative about, though it is still extremely boring; that's my big no for this season, nothing even remotely interesting is happening, which is pathetic considering the first half revolves around the impending meltdown of a nuclear plant. I liked Dwight's episode though
5. Season 7
- this season has some interesting storylines, and I didn't hate watching the episodes but it's just so poorly made and everything is mixed up, it's hard to look at it better
4. Season 8
- this season is a total mess when it comes to production value, but I liked the storylines themselves. PADRE are the kind of villains that are annoying in a way that it's so satisfying when they fall at the end, and Morgan going clear again was interesting. They also treated the impact of Grace's death a lot more seriously than most of the deaths in S7. I hated Troy in S3 but I liked him a lot here, Morgan got back to his darker side again, Madison is present again and even the lead in the final half and they put into focus how dysfunctional the group is again (which was a strong suit for Fear at the start because it was different from TWD).
3. Season 1
- The peak of the Erickson era by a landslide, it was such a good start for the show and I liked the characters a lot. The collapse of society itself was done very well. It all makes me wish S2 and S3 didn't fumble the original run so badly.
2. Season 4
- I loved this season. I liked how bold it was with killing off two main characters; Althea, June, John, Sarah and Wendell are great and some of my favorite characters in the universe, it's atmosphere is phenomenal, especially the episodes with the hurricane, and finally, I love Martha as a villain mainly because I'm so tired of stereotypes like Negan, that type of person simply can't exist in the apocalypse, not to mention how annoying and smug they always are. I like that with Martha, they just made her very crazy, and I didn't mind 4B being bonkers, it was a good balance after how dark 4A was.
1. Season 6
- this is the season that imo deserves the kind of respect that S3 gets: great storytelling, great cinematography, great action sequences, great villains, the list goes on, this season is perfect.
Overall, S3 and S2 are awful, S5 and S7 are mediocre, S8 is good and S1, S4 and S6 are great.

I forgot which is which season in ftwd. Tbh. I fee like I could only enumerate some scenes but don't know if they are in the same season or not. Things like:
- California scene I know is season 1
- yacht scene can't remember if s2 or s3
- the ranch and dam scene Troy kill scene S3
-s4 is the Morgan mostly greyish film
- plane radiation s5 with kids
- s6 I think is Virginia season
-s7 maybe the tower
- S8 is the mo, Madison I remember this. Mo was annoying even Tracy I don't mind if she got shot or bitm so eannoying. Madison who is just so impulsive just killing and regretting it looks childish when she killed Troy full of conviction and Troy said something now she cries?!
All seasons - It's all like a blur so you can handpick the iconic and memorable scenes.
Season 5 over season 2 is craaaaazy

They kept them for the entire season, then they left the same shworunners and writers from season 5 back to work on seasons 7 and 8 thinking they learned they're lesson, but as you can see 😂

I had to force myself to watch this,because of the mother. , she is so annoying, ut because the rest of it is good I made myself watch it.
Season 2 is MASSIVELY overrated, I can’t stand when people are like "Only the first 3 seasons are good" No, its just Season 3... that's it.
And I'd argue Season 6 and 4A are both far better than even that.

Everyone says it but it cannot be reiterated enough, The series was such a flop ever since Morgan came on. I really hate what they did, after season 6 I was like yaknow what this could actually turn out decent, nope, further decline after a moment of clarity 💀

Idk I definitely feel like season 4 was the worst, the whole “make you stronger” storyline was directionless and a complete waste of time lol 7 is right behind it because the way they wrote the characters were terrible but at least it was more entertaining than 4 imo.
They killed this show after season 3 even though there were some good characters like john dory and june other than that it pretty much sucked after season 3

IMO, Troy's death was a lot more frustrating than Nick's

I think that it would have made sense for Chris to have returned in Season 8 instead of Troy. And then there would actually be some kind of reason as to why Daniel and Madison don't immediately kill him lol. Think about the way Troy was written and acting and then just imagine it was Chris, if you picture that, I think it legit makes sense, maybe more sense and probably a lot more satisfying. For Madison to choose to kill the only thing left of Travis, woah might have actually have been a single piece of good writing since season 3.....
I think that it legit would have made sense for his character arc, I know that's shocking coming from the season 4-8 writers, but if you think about the arc Chris was on in Season 2, his conflict with Alycia then playing into them meeting again and her giving him another chance. Revenge against Madison makes more sense. I legit think it makes way more sense that way and could have actually worked for the characters.
Instead they brought back Troy to ruin him and make him Martha 2.0, which was my worry for him from the beginning when this was first teased. Ugh.

8. Season 5 | The amount of episodes I skipped on rewatch due to all the helping people talk is insane.
7. Season 1 | I'm never a big fan of starter seasons.
6. Season 8 | Padre sucked, Troy was under utilized. The perfect ending of the series and for morgan and all the throwbacks redeem it.
5. Season 4 | Very interesting season and good past and future storytelling. You can easily skip the last few episodes with Martha and conclude it there to go into Season 5.
4. Season 7 | Love the fallout atmosphere and storylines from the nuke. My only issue is Al and Alicia.
3. Season 3 | Very intense and great. However, for my personal taste, it is a little too heavy on the real world race relations.
2. Season 2 | The Abigail, the storylines (although they went nowhere I thought they were so intriguing, especially Travis', which is one thing I will never forget after rewatch.)
1. Season 6 | Teddy. Virginia. Strands dive into madness. Insane Morgan. The Key (6x04).
Season 6 was my #1, Season 4 started ok but fizzled out. Teddy was probable their creepiest villain
Imagine if they kept the ghost writters from S6 for the last two seasons what it would've been

Another annoying thing about Fear, over 8 seasons they've never had an official home and never had a "real" villain with an arc. TWD had so many iconic villains. Fear only had Teddy who had a couple episodes and about 30 minutes of screen time total

A question for the Q&A: What do you think of Luciana's treatment from the showrunner? The fact that Nick died and she got nothing, then her storylines always were in the sense of having her restrained, left far beyond from the group or basically the fact that June for example, has had like 6 focused episodes and Luciana just 1 and stolen by Charlie... they neutered her character in such a bad way.
