Great review, you hit all the major points. I purchased mine on Amazon when it was on sale and it did come with the VESA mount. One other item that is a negative for me is the vignetting along the bottom. Not really an issue for every day use but it is noticeable with light backgrounds.
Nice review! One thing I don't get though, if you plug ethernet cable to usb-c hub, connect to monitor, you will be able to use that ethernet on connected laptop. However, it is not clear to me if you can use that ethernet on monitor since it has only wifi and not LAN port. So, if you connect lan cable to usb-c hub and connect that to monitor, will monitor pickup internet from LAN cable? Thanks
Now in 2024 I decided to buy the M8. The new Viewfinity S9 is dramatically better, even in small screen size, but the actually discount prices for the M8, I mean less then 500 bucks, made me still opte for the M8.
Hey man, awsome video. Thanks for reviewing it. I have a question regarding sound. With the USB hub plugged into the back of the monitor, can you plug in an AUX cable that’s connected to headphones/ speakers, and have the monitor output sound when using it as a TV? That’s the major thing preventing me from buying this, is the sub par sound quality, and there being no headphone jack on monitor.
Hello dear, Can you share what type of usb C hub using to extend connectivities like, RJ45, Mouse, KeyBoard, SSD storage? And... How do you output the monitor sound to an external speakers, I found weird the M8 monitor speakers. Thanks.
I'm using the cord that came with the monitor for everything. And when it's connected just go to your computer and change the speakers output to Samsung M8
@@DalevonDigital Thanks for your reply. Is it possible to connect RJ45 Ethernet cable with a adapter directly to the smart monitor thought USB-C monitor port? I would like watching streaming content on the smart tv of the monitor without PC or Laptop and without LAG.
That's a nice video. Thanks for that, and I have questions. I am just using it for my desktop PC, which is Win 10. The HDMI gives me the display, but USBC-C should do everything. But it is just letting me to use the camera. I am switching it to usbc-c from the inputs and I lose the display of my screen. Just the blue page comes up...Its a little frustrating. Do you know anything about it?
Thanks bro. And yes I've ran into that problem also. I noticed that one of the ports in the back will display digital in and out, and it has to be the right port on the PC/laptop. Happened on my Mac Mini. Try both ports in the back.
@@DalevonDigital Thanks for your reply. But the problem still exists. When I disconnect HDMI I lose the vision. Need to connect both HDMI for the display and USB-C for the camera... But as I see people just use USB-C cable only for all...
I’m trying to connect my mini pc to it but I keep getting a blue screen saying nothing is connected. What do you recommend I do? I’m tired of using my laptop too. Thank you!

Interesting I haven't tested that. I'll have to see if that's possible.
I would have definitely bought one if it had a high refresh rate screen.
I think they should have gamers in mind. It doesn't bother me because I edit photos and videos.
Nice review! Waiting on the Viewfinity s9 that I'm super excited about. New sub👍🏼out here supporting smaller channels like mine!
I really appreciate you bro. Thanks for the sub and watching. 💯

Nice review. I am think about buying one.
Thanks bro. I'm loving this Monitor.

I never tried it but it should totally be possible
My M5 monitor the speakers aren't great but there ok enough if I have to use them everyone in a while
I say they are good for basic stuff. But I wouldn't watch a movie or listen to music on them.

It's probably your cable at this point. Maybe buy a better video in/out Cable that has better data transfer speeds.

I had to connect mine HDMI to Type C
Great review!!
Thanks bro.
someone is needed adapter to connect PC??
The Thunderbolt Cable don't connect with my MacBook Pro. :(
Try a different cable if you have any.
You could get a mac mini instead of a second laptop.
I did
the speakers are really the worse I have ever experienced...
The speakers are horrible.

I'm glad it never happened to me, but I understand if it did. I probably would be feeling the same way
