You could have talked about the sword lunge and cancel it by grabbing the wheel (sloop). Really nice video

This is so good! I always tell people to step back from the ladder to let the boarder climb up. Helps to 100% be aware!

Very good and informative (Y) there is a thing that wasn't discussed though, if you smack a player on the ladder with your sword, he will drop down automatically, doing that once and using your weapon of choice to hit them will force them to drop sooner or later.

I like the guarding spots tho on sloop when sailing and ur using blundy from anchor side the person might getting knocked on the boat. (happened to me several times)

Did they remove the ability to knock players off your ladder with a sword?
That's how i used to defend against boarding back in the day :)
I would just sword slash at the ladder as they were climbing up and it would knock them off every time.
