💯 agree! Unfortunately the older generation don’t have as many subscribers or high number on watched videos. I can say I’ve seen some great videos from them. Even better than the younger generation.
looking to do my first solo camping trip in 2 weeks. Looked for some tips and ideas on TH-cam and stumbled on your channel. Like your video. keep it up fellow Camper. I'm also very new to this and just started my channel couple weeks ago. will be coming to your videos for more tips. Thank you.
Nice chilled out Video Friend. 🤝👍 I've done a few solo camps at the local Woods near my place. The first ever time, it must've been around midnight, and i was 'watering a treestump'. About twenty feet away, there was a loud 'klonk' sound, and a single skinny Tree just swayed from side to side. 😂 I just stood there going,"Hhhuh....well that was...interesting." Then, the second time i went, i was woken up about half one by a bloomin' Deer Barking outside my Tent. 😂 Those Woods are wild as hell. Love it. Greetings from the UK me old Mate. 🙂👍
@@Theoutdoorlayman Thanks Friend. 😄 My Son wanted to join me recently. We went and found this really nice spot surrounded by huge ferns and lush trees. He heard that Deer who lives there, and went,"It sounds like a Girl screaming! Creepy as!" It made me laugh and i said,"It does doesn't it, but it's as creepy as it gets. They're not dangerous to us, just getting our scent and they probably think we're creepy as. Standing on our 'back legs' like a bunch of weirdos.😋" We just laughed together after that. He didn't feel comfortable Camping overnight, so we packed up. Plenty of time to build up confidence and all that. 👍🤝
Also from Ontario here. I watch a ton of camping and bushcrafting type videos...yours was really good! I haven't started camping yet, and getting started very late in life to be honest but my goal is to basically recreate trips like yours myself (sans filming it). Hope to start this summer. Just not sure if I'll start on Crown Land or not.
Great video! Thanks for sharing your trip. I'lI have some provincial park trips planned solo with my dogs, but now I'm thinking I need to find some crownland spots too!
Provincial parks are fun but there’s truly nothing like a good crown land spot! The wildlife, seclusion and peace and quiet you just can’t get at a provincial park. Definitely give it a try
Beauty crown lan site. Any others around. I know ppl dont like sharing these spots. Any way outside of atlas to find some crown camp spots. New to crown land not adventures
If you live in the GTAA then you’re looking at a couple hours travel at least. But all my spots I’ve found using the atlas! I’m not sure of any other way to find other than word of mouth.
I don't care if the youtuber is new or old, i just love watching camping videos., keep it up my guy
I agree! Thanks for watching
