Thank you so much for this amazing video. Just q quick question: Why magnets can fly out of the rotor? is there a solution to avoid that? Thanks again.
Finally someone put the coils on the outside of the magnets. I wanna do this so bad I just don't have the money but I have some ideas using the size to add more torque and efficiency
Sorry, I'm very inexperienced in electronics, but why in 2:40 there are 3 wires and then, in 4:10 there are 4, how do you get the fouth and how do you know which is the neutral? Thanks
This is a 3 phase with a Y winding motor as shown in the wiring diagram. At first the type of ESC I was thinking to use to run the motor only required the 3 wires coming from the start of the 3 phases but I ended up using a motor driver that required the 4th wire coming from where the ends of the 3 phases are connected together... Hope this makes sense...
Imbed the magnets to make a ipm bldc motor it should rev tidy and with iron based filament have a decent torque output, look at a qs138 motor stator and rotor
Get the iron filament. Cant wait to see how much better your motors come out with them. Im enjoying these 3d printed motor videos man. Keep them coming.
After the copper wires are braided, there are 3 wires visible, but after connecting them to the battery, there are 4 wires. How did this happen? What is wire 4th wire for?
Nice build! What was the trick to getting it to self start? Adding more coils? I'm experimenting with large 3d printed brushless motor designs on my channel, I cannot get it to self start, any ideas?
I noticed this inconsistency when watching the video. Thank you for pointing out which direction is the correct one. However, I'd still appreciate if someone else could confirm the correct direction though. For anyone else not knowing what this is about, look at 2:44, and look at which side the wires are connected to the coils.
hi Cool Stuff, thanks so much for inspiring me to build my own brushless motor soon, i just wanted to know, what glue do you use to glue the plastic together?
If you guys don't know, this is BLDC motor type of inrunner. If the coils at the stator are enclosed inside the magnets at the rotator, then it is an outrunner BLDC motor. Thank me later.

Can we compare this build with 3d printed axial flux motor with the same volume as this motor? What are the advantages and disadvantages of the two?
Nice Work
Bless Up
Omg ty, I’ve been looking for something like you channel

Really enjoyed this video it explained everything in a simple way!
Thanks
You need to balance the rotor and select magnets based on weight.
Can you share 3d design?
From which point did you get the neutral wire out, other than the 3 phases
how much torque does it have?
Theres an iron doped filament for the stator and rotor to improve torque
Imbed the magnets to make a ipm bldc motor it should rev tidy and with iron based filament have a decent torque output, look at a qs138 motor stator and rotor
Yes there are metal filaments, but they are quite expensive compared to normal PLA. Hopefully I will get some and try it out some day...
Amazing work, Are the stl and cad files available for download?
Nice video. How come you connect 4 wires on the board but there was only 3 coil wires left. What is the 4th one for?

구동원리를 알 수 있자나. 이 영상은 헬기를 띄울 모터를 만드는게 아니다 ㅋㅋ
Какой силы применял магнит в килограмах на подъём веса?
so nice 👍
Thanks

4:10 Where is blue line from ??
Its coming from where the end of all 3 phase are connected
@@CoolStuff1 Thanks, I have the same control board and would like to modify the flywheel on my scooter.
buenas para todos, ¿
donde puedo comprar los planos de impresión?
Creative video, keep it up, thanks :)
Thanks
Can this motor use for robotics?.
you have to put iron cores in the coils, otherwise torque and efficiency will be too low.
And create more heat
Nice build! What was the trick to getting it to self start? Adding more coils? I'm experimenting with large 3d printed brushless motor designs on my channel, I cannot get it to self start, any ideas?
Thank you! Yes I'm pretty sure it was adding more coils and magnets that got it to self start. Good luck with your project.
Hello, I would love the files to print, could you please share?
Nice video, I noticed that the diagram is wrong in some areas as the coils should connect inner to outer.
Can u metion about which part u r talking and if its wromg then how it worked well

Hey could you share the 2d measurements plz
What 4 controller is this?
What was the no of parallel paths?
And what is no of parallel strands?
I want to buy this! Is it for sale or please let me know where I can buy customised 3d printed auxial motors / generators.
Why 10 magnets? How is the calculation of magnets and coils
Is there any way you can share a link to the motor controller you used here?
What is the point to make brushless motor with high thrust...like 50kg
Hey very cool project! where can i find the print files?
Do I get the stl files if I sub in patreon?
Very nice
Thanks
hi Cool Stuff, thanks so much for inspiring me to build my own brushless motor soon, i just wanted to know, what glue do you use to glue the plastic together?
Super glue works very well.
@@CoolStuff1 ok thanks
What is that blue wire for ??
Blue wire is coming from where the 3 phase are connected together. The motor driver I used required it to work.
@@CoolStuff1
oh okay.... ty for the explanation. I've always wanted to build one, but I didn't understand the connections.
Its so good.
Thanks
Making a drone from scratch?
will you be releasing the stl files?
So this is a DC motor, correct? What kind of voltage/current were you using to power it?
3, 18650 batteries. 3.7v @3A each.
Very clever 😅🙌👍
Thank you mate
Can you share the STL files?
You sjould put tapes around the magnets so ut wont fly off...i had seen other video people put tapes on them...
so cool
Thanks
That can be used like a mini generator
Hey, any chance that you could share the stl files?
Dude, you need to include files for these in your description buddy.
Everyone making such motor but no one telling which controller has to use and how to select controller for different usage
where are the model files

diy step motor please
Will look in to it
Сейчас пластик везде применяется , бытовая техника ,элементы автомобиля , можно и электромоторы делать , химики скоро создадут сверхпрочный пластики .
Can you send me stl files, please ?
Hi, can you please share the stl files? I want to build one for my university. Can I give you my email?
