If you learn tajweed as a child, when you are quick on learning and adapting. It is very easy الحمد لله. However, speaking Arabic and communicating we lack in, I envy those who understand the imam reciting the quran in salat 🥲🥲🥲

Masha Allah! This unexpectedly answers my question that has been with me for quite a few years now. Originally, I read Aakhirah, probably I'd heard that's how it is pronounced. Then I noticed that the word is written without a longer vowel, so I tried to force myself to read Akhirah instead. But then it sounds unnatural to me somehow. After a while, I got back to read it as Aakhirah convincing myself that there must be some madd hidden in the way the word is written. Until I've found your explanation today!
