We're visiting the 626 area for the first time next week (👋from Sydney, Aus btw) and thanks so much for your recommendations. Definitely going to hit up Savoy 😋
you guys should get a food app, like a virtual tour function where you talk us thru the neighbourhood and we can go on a virtual tour with y'all. I would definitely grab that on the app store if i was travelling thru 626 or NYC
im sorry bu if your one of those people who wants to be an other race, that is wack IMO. cus what if an asian wanted to be black? and like a white guy wanted to be asian.. Idk it's kinda weird in my opinion
Also, I first found out about you when researching Hong Kong food. Loved that video. And I LOVE that you make videos about the food culture in the 626 area code. I’m always telling people about the amazing Asian/Mexican culture and food. I’m so glad that you are reaching people with ur POV. Thanks for talking about this.
Thank you both so much! I went to 101 Noodle Express the other day based on your recommendation and it was the first really great Chinese food I've had since moving to Los Angeles. These videos are so helpful and informative. Can't wait to go back to Monterey Park next week and check out more of the places on your list.
Absolutely love this channel, love you guys, it's so cool how you guys share your culture and food with us. I'm definitely going to visit the 626 now, thank you guys for this video really helpful and well you guys are awesome!
thanks for the concise-ish overview. i really want to try like all those places... but especially the eggplant and scallion pancake taco thing - that sounds awesome
I recognize everywhere your walking in the background of the video! :^). I recommend going to the different Smorgasburg events that will start opening in April-October. A lot of variety and really chaotic but in a good way.
How haven't i ran into ya'll yet... I'm in LES/Chinatown all the time.... But actually... Since ya'll are out here... Ya'll gotta visit somewhere besides Chinatown, LES, and Flushing... Come uptown! Harlem, Bronx... Then BK, Bed Stuy, Flatbush, Williamsburg...
I noticed you guys were walking down Bowery. Even though I'm sure you guys got eachother and can take care of yourselves becareful around the Bowery Mission area. Half the time, it'd be controlled by drug dealers/addicts who hide their stash inside lamp posts. Love the video and how you're able to portray NYC.
Andrew and David thanks for the choices when get out to LA I'll Definitely have to go to all the spot in the 626 you guys always got the nice spots and im gonna go to the Boba spot
I’m from Long Beach, and I ate like 50% of what you guys had. I guess we have similar taste. Can’t wait to try the rest of the foods that you guys mentioned. Thank for your video
Awww, I’m from Alhambra tho we called it (a-town), and moved to NY. I miss all that food. Noodle world at 2am, rare steak pho extra spicy, 101 noodle express aka the best dumplings. And yes, all the Vietnamese sandwich places in valley blvd
welcome to NYC :) some of my favorite places here Banh Mi Saigon at 198 Grand St imo is better than paris sandwich (which is a franchise) You guys have to try the black ice cream tea at Patea at 135 Mott St (also has the stubby cups) Also Breakroom at 83 Baxter St (Asian mexican fusion) what sucks about NYC is that if you want good korean food you have to travel to queens....
Hi Fung Bros, thanks for doing all the videos about food and I really enjoy them! However I think you guys also did another good thing in all your videos.......THE BACKGROUND MUSIC!!!!! If it's not too much trouble, can you please list all the songs that you used as background music in this video??? PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Y'all gotta come up to T.O (Toronto) to check out the Asian food scene - Would love to hear your thoughts and opinons!!! We are just one short bus ride across the border!
since you guys r close to mass now, you need to stop by boston and lowell, ma. Lowell is where you will find the best cambodian food and also have alot of good restaurants too!! would really love to see that!
Okay..so at first I wasn't sure how exactly you two were qualified to talk about food so much.....but you just listed like 70 restaurants from one little section of LA
Shurui Max Park I wasn't bashing them..if you misunderstood me on that. I was saying that I realize now that they really are certified to talk about food so much. They have a much deeper knowledge than I expected, even if it did just come from experience.
John Braddock like i said: read the title. "Best Food of the 626" not "The best food of LA." Also, if we're talking about scope, what makes an LA based food vlogger qualified? There's thousands upon thousands of restaurants in California alone
If you guy come back to the 626 a good Vietnamese food is Pho FIlet or Pho Filet 2. Also if you guy do plan to come back to California you guys should try Trieu Chau at Santa Ana it not in the 626 but it the best place ever to eat it Vietnamese, Chinese, and Cambodian cooking and the best thing to get is 111 House Special Noodle with soup inside and get the white noodle, but you can also get just yellow noodle or both white and yellow your choice. Best Place to eat hand down is Trieu Chau.
I'm going to say it again, these guys are BEAST and deserve a food TV show
+Cookie Crumblez they did have a food TV show

I took food recommendations from JK for my last trip to LA and the 626 area. Next time, I'll definitely be working off this list. Thanks guys!
The set up of this video really brings out some nostalgia and that really makes the food look good!
I just moved to Kentucky for work and watched this because I'm feeling homesick. Thanks for this video!
I appreciate all the hard work that went into this video! It must have been exhausting to walk around all day.

thank you, guys! enjoy the east.
this is very helpful for our trip to LA in December. Thanks for that!
TH-camrs moving OUT of LA, for a change.
LA is equivalent to NY on the east shore. 'Famous' people either go to LA or NY. Lol. So it ain't nothing new over on this side (east side).
It’s a new trend …right!
Love the editing and the music for the video! :-) great job guys :-)

Omg I’ve been to about half of these places! It’s awesome to see a wide variety of Asian & SE Asian restaurants represented.

Hi Fung Bros, thanks for doing all the videos about food and I really enjoy them! However I think you guys also did another good thing in all your videos.......THE BACKGROUND MUSIC!!!!! You don't need a license to talk about food. They're just giving their opinions.
Shurui Max Park I wasn't bashing them..if you misunderstood me on that. I was saying that I realize now that they really are certified to talk about food so much. They have a much deeper knowledge than I expected, even if it did just come from experience.
