The geocomunicater site is down and the lr2000 website is completely different

I was trying to use this to find active claims in WA state. The drop down menu does not show WA. So no LR2000 for WA? Seems strange..
Another interactive database-map I found was a USGS program. It showed various square blocks, colored grey, red, green, on a zoom able map interface similar to many other map programs.
If you click on a square, it shows data for active and inactive claims. I'm not sure if that program is up to date with data though.. Do you know?
Why hasn't the GOV created a simple platform where you can enter LAT Long coordinates to show squares and up to date data? That would be too easy I guess.
