I found the king gleeok. And holy- wow. That thing is unimaginably tough. I feel like it’s probably stronger than the lynel from the last game. Dang. I’m incredibly grumpy now lol. 😅
Just make the patented Gleeok torture device which basically puts an unbreakable helmet over their body and bombards it with either lasers flame throwers cannons or whatever else you can throw in there
So, early in my playthrough, I used the 'ascend' skill to warp through the ground and out of THE DEPTHS, and I somehow found myself on top of one of the towers of Hylia Bridge. In the distance, I saw some King Ghidorah looking thing on the other side of the bridge, and used my camera to zoom in on it, saw the name, said 'nah, I'm good', then warped back down into THE DEPTHS with the quickness. Yes, THE DEPTHS seemed far more easier to deal with than whatever that King Ghidorah looking thing was, and I wanted no part of it.😂
I fought the king gleeok last night. it was the first one I faced and oh boy it was a lot tougher than I thought, granted it took me about 20 minutes but by golly g I was happy when I finally killed it
I didn’t go too bad. The first phase was rough but with the second phase, I rode the ice spikes back up to the cloud and shredded him with arrows and broke 3 of my good weapons lol. I thought you could kill home for the golden horse quest so the other guy could come but no
The trick is to fuse as many rocket shields as you can and use it before the gleok flies, then shoot the eyes before it goes up high. Do this specially before when it flies up higher than usual because that's when it throws its killer moves.
Ok, so I was fighting the flame gleeok somewhere near gerudo desert, and here's what I done. So, when the gleeok jumped off of its stand, I ascended up to it. Then, I jumped off, and I could use slow motion to shoot its heads. Then, for second phase, I taunted it to shoot a fireball on the stand, (while I was hiding under it) and used the fire to paragliding up and shoot its heads!
Ok I’m glad I figured out the most optimized (for now) way to defeat these things, I did not use the eyes although I should have, I just wasted my royal gaurd bows to one shot it’s eyes instead

@@endstorm4862 nah, it was way cooler and more intense with the swordplay, as well as seeing his health bar go so far. The theme felt straight out of a samurai movie, it had more depth than just arrow spam, and the demon dragon spectacle is 1000000x better than dark beast ganon

The ost is good BUT it makes me fookin sleepy when fighting him, it doesn't give any final boss music vibe at all. I agree demon dragon is 100000000x cooler than dark beast, But dark beast's music is 1000000000000000000x better than ganondorf + demon dragon's theme combined
Somehow I've only managed to run into two separate thunder gleeoks and ohmyfuckinggod I am not prepared for that. Update: I'm going around Hyrule with 3 heart's and maxed stamina killing everything that's killable now.

Side note rocket shield between damage phases.. also as soon as it recovers run the other way out of its wing air burst atk. Then when your out of range just rocket back up and you can shoot it's eyes while it's still doing this atk keeping it on the ground. Side bar. If you need rockets the 3rd floor in the fire temple has rockets that respawn after attaching to a shield.
U can literally shoot keese eyeball arrows at him the moment he starts to fly up, no need to wait for him to fire the fireball.. and he takes massive fall damage
I used the thunder helm for the lightning one. Could barely damage me 😂 Appart from elemental protection, you can also use outfits that increase atk in weather.
One trick that rarely gets talk about is fall from the sky and shooting it with a guardian arrow with a construct bow which for some reason makes it with Minecraft bow logic infante damage
Pro tip: instead of attaching rockets to your arrows, attach them to your shields instead. That vertical boost is enough to give you bullet time, and when used right can prevent Gleeok from flying or attacking. Be sure to get a safe distance away before doing so though, as the gust of wind it kicks up after recovering from a fall is enough to get you back on the ground.
I just defeated the flame gleeok yesterday, and it was by the skin of my teeth. Damn thing kept knocking me off the bridge. I don’t even wanna think about the other 3 lol
Also a good tip is to attach things that give you altitude to your shields (i.e. springs, bomb barrels, bomb flowers etc.). It makes it so much easier because you can use it right after it gets back up from being stunned and just stun it immediately after.
I’ve killed 3 Tri-Element Gleeoks already. Just bring rockets fused to some shields. Use this to get near his 3 faces and blast each of the eyes twice. Then beat tf outta him and rinse and repeat. For beating these you get one horn for each element it’s gotta be the best way to farm their fuse material
Tip, if you run out of homing arrows (keese eyes, octorok eyes, etc), use the wings instead. Wings will travel further so you don't need to get up close, just have good aim
I fought this with 4 hearts and only max 40 dmg weapon. It felt like an Elden Ring boss since the fire damage makes you one shottable even with the full heart protection
Pro tip: use the purple flowers from the depths. It will not attack you and you can continuously fire at it. It’s incredibly helpful right before it’s below 50% stage. First Gleeok I killed was a King Gleook in the depths with this method.
Beat my First One today, It was the gleeoks den gloom king One, i found It very Easy and i decided to beat 10 more, love them they are easily my fav miniboss
I didn't use any heat resistant weapon/elixir. I battled it at the Fountain, and stayed there. Fountain provided cover and protection, and heat resistant. And since I finished Sidon's quest first. I used his water barrier to protect me from the fireball. Just spammed eyeballs and spike-ball club to defeat the Gleok.
Yeah, I remember seeing this thing on the bridge and I was gonna walk up to it like a lynel since those things are relatively easy for me to beat, and he shot a laser at me and immediately murdered me

The Gleeock on the bridge is unusually difficult in this respect in that there isn't really any cover nearby, so you're better off using zonai devices to gain altitude (and by extension bullet time) instead. Keese eyeballs and other fused arrows are also effective, but can be costly as opposed to just using a savage lynel bow and a zonai spring.
I just defeated my first Gleeok, it was the thunder Gleeok in thd coliseum. I just used ascend to get to a higher spot so that I could jump into bullet time and shoot its heads. It never had a chance to use its final attack.
I beat the Thunder Gleeok in the Coliseum. That’s one tough because A) it has no elemental weakness and B) it thunderstorms the entire time, which is extremely annoying without full rubber armor or a Thunder Helm. You can use metal weapons and bows, you just can’t keep them equipped for too long, which really limits your damage output.

actually flame and frost resistance is recommended, up close the flame one flaps shivering cold winds.

Since we are talking about rockets. You can also fuse a zonai rocket to your shield so you get that face to face with the Gleeok.

When fighting a fire gleeok you can use hot weather attack since it’s making it hotter for attack up
My biggest tip is no matter what, never let it fly up all the way
