What’s crazy is that I’m watching y’all right now...Quarantined in the hotel rooms on base. And I graduated! Right now is definitely the BEST & the WORST time to join the Air Force. I feel like a Week 10 trainee! I got my coin and everything. But the bottom line is that the AF isn’t playing around with COVID. And it’s nothing for them to quarantine your whole flight after you’re done with everything. But overall, BMT is the beginning of a life changing experience. Yes, it is shitty at times. But it does get better. Especially after week 5 or so. Keep doing your thing and rolling out these videos Sir.🙏🏾

Yeah we’ve been here for 10 days now. But the good news is that in 4 days, we’ll FINALLY be on our way to Tech school. I appreciate the wishes bro. Same to you!!

@@justintomlinson5652 We had quite a few old heads at bmt. Like late 30s a couple 40 year olds lol. 2 of which were in my flight, one being our dorm chief in bmt was 34. We actually ended up becoming really close. Use your wisdom and experience that you’ve accumulated over your life and use that to pour into us youngins. We learned a lot from our old head but at the same time made him feel young again bein as goofy and childish as we were lol. Don’t worry. You won’t stick out (in a negative way) as much as you think💯😂
@@iClarkeHD I really couldn’t tell you. I know a lot of people that I know are getting sent over seas rn. But it all depends on your job and the air force’s needs. If you really wanna go over seas, make sure you fill up your dream sheet with all over seas bases. You can put 8 overseas and 8 stateside. Fill that bad boy up and give them options so they’re less likely to just throw you anywhere

Yeah that’s weird. We got our first call in the first couple days. And if they’re still quarantining in the hotels, they should get their phones back. Like you said tho, policies could’ve changed🤷🏿♂️ when you get a hold of em, let me know!
I know that you guys didn’t do a lot of long distance running during covid but what is the day to day pt like? Do you do wind sprints or anything like that to keep the cardio up?
During covid we did HIT workouts. Basically instead of doing a certain amount of let’s say jumping jacks we would do as many jumping jacks as you could in a certain amount of time. Of course that isn’t just for jumping jacks but that was just an example
Yeah man what @beau284327 said... it wasn’t hard stuff at all honestly. We were supposed to have run days 2 or 3 times a week but ended up only running 2 to 3 times our whole time there😂
When Miller and I went into quarantine we were put in this place called the Air Force inn. We had our phones and tv. The military training instructor really pushed you to study your BMTSG though. My friend just graduated basic and was put into quarantine but the inn was at max capacity so his flight stayed in the dorms at their squadron and they didn’t get their phones. So it comes down to if the inn is full or not

It definitely wouldn’t hurt to look up some online study tools, especially for your weaker subject areas. Now, the mechanical portion of the asvab was hard. At least for me lol cuz I’m not mechanically inclined at all. I bombed that portion of the test😂 88 overall tho💯

I've tried to start getting into shape before my date but it's hard for me to come to having motivation to get ready. Am I going to fail??

I talk to a recruiter they dont wanna get me even im 25% bodyfat they want it 20% plus they want me at 180 and thats impossible im 230lbs built. So idk how can i get it here in vegas they be rejecting people 🤦🏻

I still have to do meps but my recruiter was able to get me a firefighting job because someone he had dropped it for spec ops. So, I just have to redo my asvab and then I'll get the job and leave in August.

If they do my drug test, and they found out i’ve been using CBD... will i get in trouble? Because i’ve heard that most jobs allows the use of CBD and strictly forbids THC.
Good question. Long story short, no, because cbd doesn’t show up on drug tests because they don’t screen for it, but some cbd oils contain a little thc, which WILL show up on the test. So honestly, it’s a toss up but to be safe, I’d stay away from all that stuff altogether, cuz it’s not even worth getting discharged for, especially if you’re still in the process of joining cuz they won’t hesitate to kick you out if they ain’t invested too much money into you yet lol
I was 5 days away from graduating and then our flight got quarantined 🤣 so now I’m in the hotel for another 2 days .. original graduation date was may 13th now it’s may 20th

surprisingly, covid hasn’t changed anything to showering😂 you’ll still have your whole flight showering together sharing shower heads lol Apparently covid doesn’t exist in the showers🤦🏿♂️

There's plenty of online study tools! Not gon lie tho most of it came from previous knowledge on my end. It's comparable to the ACT or SAT
What did you do for quarantine? Did you have your phones and could you work out or nothing at all but just stay in a room?
When Miller and I went into quarantine we were put in this place called the Air Force inn. We had our phones and tv. The military training instructor really pushed you to study your BMTSG though. My friend just graduated basic and was put into quarantine but the inn was at max capacity so his flight stayed in the dorms at their squadron and they didn’t get their phones. So it comes down to if the inn is full or not

@@adartgallery5997 if you remember the act from high school, it’s kinda like that. It’s not hard but it’s mostly stuff you learned a long time ago that you prolly forgot lol. It definitely wouldn’t hurt to look up some online study tools, especially for your weaker subject areas. Now, the mechanical portion of the asvab was hard. At least for me lol cuz I’m not mechanically inclined at all. I bombed that portion of the test😂 88 overall tho💯

If they do my drug test, and they found out i’ve been using CBD... will i get in trouble? Because i’ve heard that most jobs allows the use of CBD and strictly forbids THC.
Good question. Long story short, no, because cbd doesn’t show up on drug tests because they don’t screen for it, but some cbd oils contain a little thc, which WILL show up on the test. So honestly, it’s a toss up but to be safe, I’d stay away from all that stuff altogether, cuz it’s not even worth getting discharged for, especially if you’re still in the process of joining cuz they won’t hesitate to kick you out if they ain’t invested too much money into you yet lol
