Had a great race, a few mistakes and not taking passes fast enough kept me from the top 3. Started in 6th ended up in 4th.

I was the dude right next to you. Lol. Nowhere near flipping my bike. Very dramatic though.

Everybody loves the drama lol. Looked like the front slammed down pretty hard, glad it was under control 👍

try to stay tight to the brake markers into turn 1 to open that corner up, you are losing a lot of speed there and you should qs between 6 and 7. This will make the back section smoother and bike less twitchy. Good riding tho!

You right... Turn one is always a challenge for me because I fear someone taking the inside on me every lap😅

I enjoy watching your videos and feel like I'm learning things I can take with me in coming back for track days there. I'd like to see your body position, do you have another mount you can put your gopro on?

gearing doesnt look right. you should be hitting your final gear at the finish line

Explain why it is better to run out of gears halfway through the main straight.

@@noseishin you gear your bike to hit your final gear on the finish line. It depends if you run a 5 or 6 gear track, but your final gear is always at the finish line. By the time you reach the breaking zone for T1, you should be near red line on that final gear. Hope this helps explain better.

@@jimmcconville624 when I run 15 x 43 I switch to 6th just before the tower. With 15 x 41 right at or very little after the tower. Either way, I am at the redline in 6th way before the break marker. This means somebody with even longer gears would have time to accelerate even more when I am already maxed out. At Summit that's a kind of an important factor.

@@noseishin depends on my motor and fuel. I run 15/43 on a stock motor and 16/43 on a SB motor. But I’ll hit 6th at the finish line. Some riders at NJMP gear for a 5 speed track, while I do 6. It all depends what you do, but you want your final gear right around finish lines when gearing for tracks.
