Had some drama leading up to this race weekend. Missed practice but fortunately ASMA was a super cool org and let me get one practice in even though I missed registration. More videos from this weekend coming!

You were fast. The corner forces you outside and then inside to get passed is pretty scary.
Seems its hard to read.

So, now you’re a whole championship into ASMA (and job well done). Watching this video, as you learn ASR, I took note that on back straight, you get into 5th.
Was this due to gearing or is it on purpose? I ask because on the ZX10R, I typically get into 6th, but I wonder if sometimes I’m doing so just for the mental satisfaction of using all the gears… but … am I REALLY using them? Or am I just blip blip blip just because? Can I get away with using more of each gear and just making out at 5th? Have you changed your shifting patterns now that you know the track? I’m 7 races in with ASMA now, and still yet to podium. The bike is there (a full MA B-Bike that in the right hands can and has won at the MA level)… but I’m not there yet.

I was definitely geared wrong that weekend! But there are tracks I don't use 6th... So, I usually gear for the best power ban use in the esses (or whatever tight section there is) and using all my gears on the main straight is secondary... Hope that makes sense 🤣
