Being a teacher myself, I recognize a good instructor when I see one and you are definitely good. Many videos on Gimp/TH-cam are done by people who apparently know how to use the Gimp program, but don't have a clue how to teach. Your videos are concise, slow enough to follow, and don't cover too much in one video. Thus, someone watching can actually learn something. Thank you for sharing your knowledge with the world. I, for one, am very appreciative.
I absolutely understood him. No problem with his pronunciation. Plus I agree with S. Mahon this guy is one of the better gimp instructors on the net. easy to follow and he doesn't go at supersonic speed like so many others I have tried to follow
I have subscribed and watched several dozen of your tutorials. You are a good teacher. Thanks for that. Question, in PSP, I used to be able to select, then use a bucket to fill in with a gradient. Such a simple thing. In Gimp, the bucket fill and gradient do not interact, and I have yet been able to find a method to replace the one I used in PSP. This has been insanely frustrating. Your suggestion?
sobidoodle Thank you. Sorry for my late response. Yes, unfortunately GIMP does not have this option. Hopefully in the next major release. For now you can just use the gradient tool to fill the selection with a gradient :)
great tutorial, would u have a calendar tutorial for gimp? I have tried it many number of times from tutorials here , and added the calendar to the scripts and its not working HELP jajaja
