I’ve owned both iterations of this, and the new one is quite improved. It has reverse trust (addressing your braking issue on ice) and also differential thrust for better yaw authority on ground and air. Increased cooling has been added and an 8 channel receiver with barometer and vario features! Love this bird, they do anything!
When I was a kid we had Poopatroopers. They were small, cheap plastic figures with a small parachute attached. We would deploy them into the air with slingshots and then chase them around in the breeze as they fell back to earth. Your video reminds me of that simpler time. Thanks for the trip down memory lane. Happy flying amigo. 🍻
Thanks for the non stop drone plane heli reviews . on the last video on guy mentioned why you don’t review new drones ? I believe that steve is most multi review poster on youtube when in comes to everything flyes made by human .. i wish if he come back here and thank you for your non stop infos and videos.
I must have missed that comment. Obviously whoever posted such a comment was lacking observational skills as each week one or more NEW products are reviewed in the ENTIRE RC hobby. But regardless of that idiot, I do thank you for your support.
Holy Crap Captain!, what a superb looking / flying RC!; loved the Paratroopers doing there thing for King and Country !!!!; I am checking this out online as it could just tip me over to start seriously with this style of flying !!!
Cap I love the planes with bay doors‼️ I wish they'd make umx planes with them I still have and love my sensei fs I would drop little paratroopers and candy out of it for my son and his friends I barely fly it anymore because I'm scared of something breaking and it's discontinued but this one is on the list for sure👍🏻
@Captain Drone, if you happen to know of a suitable release system for DJI drones, please let me know. I used to drop paratroopers from my Air 2 S. But, it was one at a time because I couldn't find away of folding the parachute and pinching it to the rod of the drop system. There's not enough room for a folded parachute to fit into the little gap between the rod and the release system. The alternative was to let the paratrooper dangling and at speed, I ran the risk of having the string fly up into the rotors.

Cool! My friends and I did the same.
I had one like that too, as a child 😅
(Poopatrooper)😂
Great, fun video!! Thanks.
Wow absolutely amazing sir
Thanks!
Looks great fun, and being able to attach 3 cameras is cool!
Can't wait for next video
Excellent video and excellent flying. Nice plane. Thank you Captain Steve.
Good job as usual. I have come to expect this from Captain Drone! 👍👍😀
Thanks! 👍
awsome footage Captain.
Thank!
Fun video ! 😃
Glad you got to fly it off snow !
😎
Cool, 3 little Steve JR paratroopers 👍✈️

7:03 kinda heard a little scare in the voice.... yet still fun! very very good show!😊❤
Really cool plane nice details looks insane
Another nice RC plane and video Steve.
Thanks! I try to post at least one RC plane vid per week.
I drop DB Cooper and one dollar bills from mine. Kids go nuts over the cash but could care less about DB.
Now that’s funny!
I love your wide shot camera.Where it shows you and the sky in a wide shot. Pretty Awesome
I like the set up
Great plane! There are 4 in our flying group, 2 FPV, 2 LOS. They are a blast to drop stuff from. We even drop whoops from them!
I always wanted to fly a whoop out of the cargo bay.
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 Its worth it! Makes for a great little video. You must have someone that can drop you from it.
I have always wanted to get one of them to setup for ardupilot and mounting the gps receiver on the roof like an awak

I have a few planes with cargo doors (bomb bay doors), but all are large in size.
Extra neat❤😊. Thanks for sharing❤
I would love to see the price tag. Looks fun though!
The price is shown below the video (in the video description)
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 thanks man. Huge fan. Keep doing your thing!
Love it...that one is definitely on my wish list 😅 (it's a long list lol). Looked like one of the paratroopers plummeted to his demise! Lol
They parachutes did open❤
Sounds good

Most release systems for DJI drones are simple and lock/unlock mechanism designed to hold a small cord.
I get jealous. I plan to start on a plane kit at some point and fly with micro controllers doing "features." What can go wrong?
The more you fly the easier it is & you eventually learn how to fix and modify everything to your liking.
Could you use your rear cargo door as a brake with a little mod?
Heh....this is the perfect "you know what" type of RC plane
👍Mint 👍Loved It
How long did it take to set up and dismantle the place?
WIe lang dauerte der Auf und Abbau, am Platz?
The plane comes almost fully assembled. You just need to attach the wings & props, so assembly was very short.
Amazing !
Nice!
where did you get the paratroopers?
Amazon: amzn.to/3x1UNAO
Is that a ic5 battery to the planes ic3 adaptor?
I can't recall (I sold this plane to make room for other new planes).
How long will it fly on one charge?
Depends on the battery you use. The battery I used in the video will get me 8 to 9 minutes of flight.
FFS how do you live in so much snow for so long :/
Watch the vid again and this time pay attention to the screen where it shows the date the video was filmed
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 Yes, I know that you record a lot of videos during the season, but I still think that the snow lasts long enough!
@@BASSstarletThis year is our shortest snow season (it left us at end February). Normally my winter snow season is December to early April.
I don't want paratroopers. I want ...ballet dancers. Why can't it drop ballet dancers? Come back when it can drop ballet dancers.
I have forwarded your email to the Disney Corporation.
Steve you're starting to look like a Mountain Hermit..
The facial hair gives my face warmth during the winter months
