I’ve had the dumbells and kettlebell handle for over 10 years. Pros: very solid and durable. The screw keeps everything tight with little to no rattle even after 10+ yrs. Relatively fast adjustment once you get the hang of it. Cons: the handles are long to accommodate the screws, adjustability is slow compared to other dumbbells like power blocks. I recommend getting the rack with them because the plates are stored separately when not being used.
@ my pleasure. I did a lot of research before I bought them and I haven’t regretted it. Going to get the 120lb expansion eventually. They were unavailable for a long time post COVID, but it looks like they are back in stock.
This is the review I've been waiting for for this kettlebell handle! I was curious how it felt for cleans and snatches. I've only seen people do swings, goblet squats, and rows with this.
Me too, you only ever see videos of people swinging the ironmaster kettlebell when they review them. I don't think cleans or snatches would be comfortable, especially with heavier weights as this kettlebell continues to get longer with each weight increase.
@@danielm7584 + @jsgaragegym You're thinking isn't necessarily wrong in that the length is a 'thing' at heavier weights. I've done snatches at 70 lbs just to test out the 'flip', and you're form/technique need to be on point, otherwise you'll get some leverage on the forearm -- but most people moving that much weight will be experienced in proper form. I was able to keep is smooth and comfortable for a few reps until i started struggling with the weight. I say, give it a go and let us know what you think.
@@danielm7584for heavy KB exercises the length looks like it could get awkward. When Mike did cleans with 80 it seemed to be ok. I have a set of cast iron KBs, but this might be a nice option to have when I travel.
Wow, ok so looking at the Ironmaster stuff, the cable tower is 86" so that ecosystem WOULD fit in my tiny basement. Something to consider this stuff for the small space if I ever get seriously back into freeweights overall
Interesting… I’m in Taiwan but almost never see any iron master equipment for sale here. I have seen similar products like Tixteel and ByZoom as well as other adjustable dumbbells - nuobell, snode, etc. that being said I would love to see more of it here. Taiwan make good products these days - long gone are the days of cheap products.
@ Not yet! But you convinced me with the dumbells + kettlebell. This ecosystem makes the quicklocks the most value adjustable dumbell, without a doubt. And the weighted vest looks really good.
I appreciate the video. Did this heavier version come with a locking pin? The 12.5 lb bell that I got this month came with one installed, but when you unpacked yours it didn't seem like it had one. One thing that was frustrating when I was trying to decide between this one and the Bells of Steel adjustable kettlebell is that there really isn't any videos about using this kettlebell. My experience so far has been similar to yours, so I appreciate the review. I still may get the BoS kettlebell in the future since the competition bell format seems like it would be more comfortable when I progress to the heaviest weights and when I would like to be able to use two kettlebells at once.
@@eN-Rom I should have mentioned that, but no it did not come with a locking pin. I can still see an argument for having traditional kettlebells for what you described.

Would you conisder comparing chest expanders and resistance bands side by side ? There's been a comeback of chest expanders and I know their the OG resistance bands. Haven't seen anyone properly compare them.
The tension is a bit more consistent on springs I think. That's the main difference. Also a spring is less likely to snap. I still think you should wear eye protection with either though.
Thanks for agreeing to take a look at it, on your own dime too! Even better, we're pumped to see you like it 💪
@@IronmasterPro much appreciated. Thank you !
I have two of the 22.5 lbs. they work great and very comfortable to use. No issues in 6 plus years
VERY good to know. I alluded to that in the video that having a second one would be ideal for some things.
Hi, I am seeing that Speediance ad with you 2x a day if I am watching four videos a day. It’s everywhere.
I still haven't seen one. Are these on TH-cam? I hope at least they plug the channel name, because like I said, I'm not getting any cut from it.

Thanks for that info Steve!
please consider reviewing the ironmaster mace next!! great channel
thanks on my short list. What ruined it for me was I just bought a Rogue Mace, but I know it's something people will want to see.
To me, the KB and vest options trumps the can't do supersets issue.
Please review the IM2000.
Will look into it, thanks
Please review their cable tower, which you can put their dumbbells as weight.
Great review! You should try the weighted vest next.
Stay tuned brother... Do you by chance have that?

Great video Mike, I do some kb exercises myself, if you could maybe do a few kb videos in the future, that would be great!
Hey Dean, will do for sure. That was my motivation for originally ordering the one that got damaged in shipping. Got a lot more options with these.

How thick is your rubber mat? Do you feel it's ok? Or you would change for thicker / thinner?
So far I think it's perfect.
