Also their song Stronghold has one of the most epic metal guitar solos of all time imo, should check both of them out if you haven’t heard. You’ll love the guitar work and will be pleasantly surprised even if you don’t like the rest of their stuff. I put the stronghold solo up there with tornado of souls. Dude, you gotta angle your pick down more and dig underneath a little more. Double down picks and double up picks for the right accents. It's alot more difficult but worth it. Anytime i try to figure out how Marty picks it i just hold my arm like he does and it basically tells me. One thing about marty is he doesnt really sweep up. He uses mostly down picks when sweeping up. Sounds great man!

These videos are great, super well made! But as a Marty Friedman fan, you should see his live performances to check the actual digitation he used for this solos, there's a couple mistakes regarding that in this tab. I just say that if this is the “definitive tab” and “how you should really play hangar 18” the video/tab should be faithful to how the original guitarist plays it.
We all get it, dude you hold Marty’s skill and interesting phrasing way above Dave’s. But honestly, the obstinate refusal to do any of the Mustaine solos is kind of cringe at this point.
@@brucehill6265 Nah. Marty says he doesn't sweep, but 70% of his stuff is literally swept arpeggios. Extremely weird and unusual fingerings and circular motions, but still sweeps.... Especially his solo works
