Restoration of an old IRON very RUSTY

Hello friends!! In this work, I restore an old iron from the 1950s. Before electricity, especially in rural areas, families used this type of tool to iron clothes. The embers were placed inside until reaching the ideal temperature for work. This example is made of cast iron and is easily found in many models. The hardest part is restoring your base to make it really smooth. As the painting and polishing were beautiful, I didn't want to put it into operation with embers, even though I knew I could do it.
