I've followed a similar approach to designing furniture. Kitchen cabinets which vary in width but essentially the same product. The key disadvantage I noticed from this is I cant seem to generate full drilling patterns for the cut list wood panels. I also find it impossible to explode the welded structure since it's all within the same part file. Maybe I'm missing something? Do enlighten me.
What do you use to record the screen as you use solidworks?
