It must be nice for the South American farmer to be able to buy brand new farm equipment from North America with no def or any pollution controls and then brag about how much better they are at producing crops .
as a german and also as an european i think the same about north america 😉 ... you have GMO Crops, no crop rotation by the law, 3,5 mtr wide combines and tractors on the streets, fertilize how you think and not so much limited by the law ... huh ... i am jealous too 😀 😝
No crisis here! Another normal year. American farmers need to plant grain and feed cattle as China and Mexico are not going to buy anything. Heifers will be premium. Brazil has 20% more land planted this year, so next year prices will be lower. Africa and South America fed the world, the US feeds John Deere
China has a deal with Brazil for grain sorghum, so we will lose that market also. My local basis for grain sorghum has gone from $0.20 more than corn to that much less than corn. It’s cheap enough to replace corn in a backgrounder ration, hogs finish about the same on it as corn if ground fine. I’m glad I bought cows back when I did and have kept a few heifers back to build a nice little herd, something that can make money, Unless something happens drastic the hard red winter wheat is going to be a huge loss.
@ China is not coming back to buy in the US ever. Mexico will never buy our GMO corn. World trade is over for the west. We have screwed and lied and bombed way too much

JD is about to go on a diet
Doubt. We will see in 2025. Am adding this to a check back at the end of 2025 playlist to review and give an updated comment.
