in the mentioned region there is a variation of 10,000/20,000 dollars per hectare. but you can find it in some places for 5,000 dollars per hectare. it was an uninhabited region for around 30/40 years, so those who arrived early got a lot of free area and in recent decades it was much cheaper. That's why it's a region of large farms. The best deals are in the northern region called "the last agricultural frontier" it is possible to buy large areas at low prices, but it is clearly increasing in value. The southern and southeastern regions of Brazil are where land is very expensive, this is where agriculture began in Brazil and the majority of the population lives in these regions, costing up to 40,000 dollars per hectare (10,000m2).

This video is unbelievable! There is no evidence that any part of Argentina is going to receive 1 or 2 inches of rain. Look at Rosario in Santa Fe or Córdoba - they may get 1/2 to inch over 5 days with 35 to 40 celsius degree heat. There is no evidence of ANY RELIEF in Argentina over the coming 14 days. With respect to Mato Grosso, next week will see MORE RAIN than this week. Up to 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch PER DAY! How will the farmers get moisture down to 13% to harvest? In Campo Novo Do Parecis, the most ideal conditions is the next 48 hours, after this, more water is coming!

China has a deal with Brazil for grain sorghum, so we will lose that market also. My local basis for grain sorghum has gone from $0.20 more than corn to that much less than corn. It’s cheap enough to replace corn in a backgrounder ration, hogs finish about the same on it as corn if ground fine. I’m glad I bought cows back when I did and have kept a few heifers back to build a nice little herd, something that can make money, Unless something happens drastic the hard red winter wheat is going to be a huge loss.
