Excellent tutorial- thank you. I have a thermador cooktop that has one simmer burner with trouble. When I turn it on it clicks but doesn’t light - prior to this I could get it to ignite (sometimes) but it made a low pitched humming sound just prior to lighting. Any thoughts?
I have a cooktop with six burners - completely separate from the oven. the six knobs are on the top right. Would I have to remove the nuts on each of the six burners to get to the control module? That sounds unlikely if that is the case.
hi great video I had my oven ignition switch replaced by a tech as it was not working at all so now my oven is working but periodically i hear the ignition clicking on even when its at its reached temperature is this normal not sure what to do .Thank you Scott.
Thanks for the video. Right simmer knob light of my Thermador countertop keeps on even it is off and the igniter keeps clicking without the cap. Where can I start checking?
Wondering if you can help with a problem I’m having with my Thermador Oven. For some reason the oven will not turn on at all. Burners and griddle function fine indicated by the blue lights and ignition. When turning on the oven I get nothing. Not even the blue light. Where should I start trouble shooting.
Hi, I have a thermador range and the simmer side has no spark or gas, I think there is no power to this side I checked the voltage at gas solenoid valve with the burner on and only get 8 volts, any idea? Thanks
Awesome video
Thanks for the visit👍😊

Those simmer burners tend to stop working when the simmer control module wears out.
It lives down near the bottom front of the stove.

That’s normal, it’s just relighting to maintain temperature 👍
Great video! Where is the link for the cleaning supply for my Thermodore head?

I think that burner got wet. Try cleaning it with a wire brush and make sure everything is dry👍
@@ScottTheFixItGuyChannel thanks Scott. I did last week. The igniter got back to normal now. The light under the knot is off. 😅

I wonder if it’s the Oven selector switch?

That’s the classic symptom of the simmer controller needing to be replaced.
Hey, my Bosch stove has this problem, but only when I try to cook on a low flame. Is this the same fix?
