I had an amazing appliance repair man who gave me maintenance tips. He told me that because the venturi tube and its holder are two different metals, they will corrode, sieze, and eventually shear. He told me to take out all of the venturi tubes once a year, clean them, and then put some lubricant on the tube before re-installing it. The lubricant he recommended was VersaChem Anti-Seize Thread Lubricant type 13 Hi-Temp Copper Formula. I have been doing this every six months for well over 20 years. The burner we use the most is sometimes a bit dry and slightly stiff, so I do this maintenance every six months rather than every year in an abundance of caution. He said never to use too much force when unscrewing the tube, because of the risk of shearing. Maybe someone can recommend something to use if they have seized some, but not completely. May liquid wrench? I don't know.
Wow...that was great. Do you need to do all of this to replace the control panel? I replaced it in 2014, but I know I did it incorrectly because it was so difficult and I did NOT do this what you show.
Here are the instructions from the manufacturer for removing the control panel: 1. Turn off the gas supply and the electrical power going to the range. 2. Open the oven door and remove the four screws(two on each side) from the bottom of the control panel end caps.. Pull down on the end caps and slide them off the glass. 3. Remove the four knobs from the controls. 4. To remove the control panel glass, pull it out at the bottom and remove if from the range. If you are replacing the glass, remove the four grommets, and unsnap the eleven push buttons then install then on the new glass. 5. Reinstall the glass and control panel end caps.
@appliancepartspros this will give me access to the actual display control panel. I need to send it to get rebuilt, and then I need to reinstall it.THERMADOR 00486752 OVEN CONTROL BOARD

Thank you very much for this maintenance tip. I am struggling with frozen venturi tubes on my older Thermador range.
I cannot unscrew my 2 of bolts...how should i phile it down or torch it ??
high temp silicone antiseize on the threads before reassembly of the burners?

If your unit is different you may not need to follow all the steps in the video. If it doesn't apply to your unit you can skip that step.
@appliancepartspros it's the slide inversion of that exact model, it's an rdss30
