So what happened to having a short video of 1 fact? Why are we getting hour long videos?
We noticed the shorter videos were being suppressed by TH-cam's algorithm and were not being shown on the Home Page or in the recommended videos at the side. We thought this might be due to the small amount of watch-time each video was getting (because of their short length), so we uploaded an hour-long video to see if this was the case. That hour long video got a ton of watch-time and was promoted heavily on Home Pages and in the side bar to new and existing viewers. We made this channel in part to promote smaller creators. If the videos on this channel aren't getting many views, our promotion of smaller creators would be pretty ineffective. On top of this, the longer videos had a better like to dislike ratio, which told us they were more preferred than the shorter videos. We know this seems like a pretty big change from our initial pitch, but sometimes you've got to change things up if your plans are falling flat.
tl:dr: The longer videos get more views and thus help us promote small creators more effectively. They also seem to be preferred by our subscribers.

Can you guys start up a DYKG Extras and a biggest Stream Archive Channel so you've guys would have being protected from the TH-cam's Algorhythims and also even be reuploading all of this Channel Trailers and even all Announcements please? And also, what are your thoughts on TH-cam taking away the Community Captions? As well as making us Captioning in all of our videos in other languages, giving us many copyright claims and even the strikes, COPPA and the FTC be aged restrictings our videos just for kids and adults, Article 13 giving us a lot of Copyright Strikes, and also even giving us a lot of too much advertisements and stuffs?

@@bytewizerd2712 I guess, but again: their whole business was trying to let people do Mario Kart in real life, and my understanding was that originally they provided props and costumes from the Mario universe before the lawsuit happened. That means Nintendo is relevant to their business, otherwise they would have had a more original go kart through the city idea.

I recall reading that the thing about killing toads is untrue, as the manual makes it fairly clear that it's the "?" blocks that are toads, and they help you by giving you a power-up.

Did you know? At 12:37 in the DYKG Clips video “The Best Mario Facts on TH-cam #2”, the box art for Super Mario Advance 4: Super Mario Bros. 3 is grayed out for unknown reasons. This is especially odd considering the box art for Super Mario All Stars, shown at the same point in the video is in full color. It is speculated that this is a simple oversight by the editors.
That's to indicate the Muncher-Tail-Block-Trick can't be done on that version.

A possible expansion for the Hell Valley creatures could be that Hell Valley was indeed a scrapped galaxy (the name might've been a Sonic 2 "Genocide City type deal where Japanese developers wanted to choose a name that sounded cool) where they would've been enemies or a boss. After the galaxy was scrapped, they would've reused the same skybox for Shiver Burn Galaxy, since they're similarly themed.

A Super Paper Mario movie sounds like the worst idea ever conceived. It would be Sharkboy and Lavagirl levels of horrible crap
So I'm assuming you guys have multiple ppl contributing the vocals for these vids, right? I think it would be awesome if you'd include the sounds/songs when you mention them in the vids and pause the narration for a few secs. I realize sometimes you might not have the audio clips, maybe when it comes to hacks, and I don't mean you've gotta play the whole song, but getting to hear those secrets is as cool as seeing the visual secrets. I get kinda pumped when you mention some hidden tracks or sounds that are found in games. I realize you're trying to fit a lot of info into these vids, but frankly I think it would help your pacing a little. It's a lot of info thrown at us in an hour, which is cool, but personally I'd love hear some of these hidden gems and not constant narration. Just a thought, thank for putting out great content!
