I’m glad to see de grasse was able to at least end the year off well, hopefully he’ll be ready for Paris
Sleeping Giant!!! So good to see
We know he's gonna work hard to be ready. He's got a title to defend
Sometimes compliments come across as back handed
What does that mean@@cathydouglas1576
Glad to see both Elaine and De Grasse coming back into good form to end the season. Both of them being amongst the best Olympic performers in history with the Olympics just coming around the corner.
Well spotted. Shericka is untouchable in the 200m but I think Elaine could make another run at 100m Olympic gold
@@StewNWTWith a healthy Elaine saying Sherika is "untouchable" in the 200m is a stretch. Remember Elaine ran a 21:53 in a empty Olympic stadium which, at the time was the 2nd fastest 200m ever behind flojo. Sherika is now dominating but a healthy in shape Elaine can definitely challenge her.
PARIS 2024 HERE COME DE GRASSE. 19.75 Lyles could be beaten
It would have been a great match if Lyles didn't skip the 200, Lyles is undefeated since 2021. Besides, that's the track where he got to a blistering 19.31
@@insideinside9450lmao a 19.7 beating Lyles just shut up Lyles ran 19.5 at his 6th race of the World championship
absolutely SOOO happy for De Grasse what a way to top off a bad season with a SB and a STRONG finish
So happy for De Grasse. A humble and drama free star of the track.
If you were paying attention to Andre's 19.89 in his previous race then this isn't anything you didn't see coming. He's bounced back from his injuries, he's adjusted to his new coach and he's regained his untouchable top end. Degrasse v Lyles in Paris could be a showstopper if they both keep healthy.
19.31 PR vs 19.62 PR... I don't think he stands a chance considering that Lyles is also younger than Degrasse.
@@Tomy-im8zl i dont think lyles will come close to that 19.31 again
@@Tomy-im8zlDe grasse ran his PB into a 0.5 headwind and with no Elevation(which makes you slightly faster). With good conditions, he can go sub 19.5! However, he will still need to step up his game to beat lyles!
@@raheemmcclashie8013 maybe, but he ran faster than the pr of degrasse 9 times already, so he doesn't need to...
Lyles only did one 19.31
Lyles now has proven to be a 19.5 runner
Lyles best times consistently is a 19.5
It's not far fetched to say degrasse doesn't have a Chance to beat lyles.
This guy does fly under the radar all the time, I'm glad that he was able to comeback and finish the year strong he's going to be a medal threat in the Olympics next year.
This guy always finds a way its really upsetting lol! like he is gone most of the season then just boom! a medal, lights out, good bye thanks for coming, later haters! what a legend
In NBA terms you would call someone like him a Playoff perfomer. Reminds me off Jimmy Butler
Omg yes!!!! Degrasse I am so happy you to that from the US. 😅🇯🇲🇨🇦
This so good to see Andre back in his old form! Welcome back Cham! 🥇
Never write off an Olympic champion. Well done Andre
At the end of every season there’s always a De Grasse comeback it’s just legend at this point.
This made me smile. Love this from De Grasse.
just in case you forget, this dude was second to Bolt. Period.
Welcome back young man
So happy for De Grasse! What an absolutely astounding finish. What a finishing kick he possesses. What great speed endurance!! Simply amazing! Hope he can stay injury free going into Olympic year.
Great win and peaking when it counts. Looking forward to him defending his title in Paris!
How does he just pull ahead like that at the very end? Magical to watch
Congrats, Andre! Bravo. Many blessings to Canada and you!
Omg De Grasse peaked at the right time to get that bag! Very nice🇯🇲❤️
That's what we all wanted to see .he will medal next year in France watch no cap.lets go andrea
Love to see this...🇨🇦👏👏👏
Degrasse always takes awhile to get back to form from injuries, and If he can stay healthy now til Paris, he should be on the Olympic Podium once again. Tough season for our Champ but glad to see him end the season with a season best!!👏👏👏
This warms my heart! ❤❤❤❤
De grasse the serial medalist ❤
people dont understand that sometime patience is the hardest thing in sprints. De Grasse changed coach this year it took him a while but its not s surprise hes a champion and thats what champions do they dont give up.
Pulled a PB to win. Well Done Andre💯🔥🔥🔥
SB not PB
His PB is 19.62 getting olympic gold
Not his PB
Well deserved, DeGrasse. Never count him out, made my day.
Even bolt knows that a fit degrresse is medallist in waiting
What a comeback 💪🏻
Finally Andre🎉🎉, am happy for Bednareck a very calm man🎉🎉
what a way to end his 2023 season
I knew he was coming to form. This is a big boost for next season
De Grasse being De Grasse. Warms my heart.
I’m waiting for it🎉🎉
He’s back!!!
De Grasse is the stephen Curry of track even his demeanor, witty but not rude, very likeable
Congrats 👏❤
Love to see De Grass win ❤
Where the people who were claiming he was done at? lmao
DEJA VU LYLES AND KNIGHTON?!?!😂
OUR BOY ANDRE GOT THEM THINKING THIS IS TOKYO ALL OVER AGAIN!
🥇🇨🇦
Where is lyles?
Happy for de Grasse!
Hopefully this bodes well for him in 2024.
HESSSSS BACKKKKK AHHHHHH
Good run DeGrasse, food run!
Yes, De Grasse!
THE CHAMP IS HERE!!
My Glorious Goat 🐐😫
would have loved to see tebogo...hope he gets well soon
Praying 🙏 aswell bruv
Oh baby, he's back.
De Grasse,y am I not surprised by this performance ❤
every single damn year people always say 'wow degrasse is running 20.1 20 flat for the first half of the season and is coming 5th or 4th in every race what happened to him?' and they still fail to recognise that the guy is one of the best at timing when he peaks in the season, he improves slowly throughout the season and always peaks with great form when it counts in a final, or at a world champs/olympics and claims a medal; yet people are still surprised about it
Him and elaine is gonna come out cooking for next year olympics.
Isn't it magical how the legends in this sport are never massively hyped up to begin with? They just show up and cause an upset that majority never saw coming.
Congratulations 👏🏿
Am so happy for him 🎉🎉🎉🎉
Bravo Andre 👏👏👏
He’s back!!!
great to see ADG back on top. hes getting quicker by the day.
My good. Look like he working on a new race strategy. His top end has always been top tier.
He deserves more respect, he's done and won so much more than Lyles and the other big mouths. Respect
DeGrasse: once again, kicking a--. Awesome running by Andre; looked as if he wasn't even that winded, nor the least bit surprised at his success. Looking good for next year, which is when it will matter. Too bad they don't have a 300!
That's what am talking bout 💪
trust me this man ain't no joke
Back to Back next year in Paris 🔥🔥🙌🏿.
He's exciting to watch . I think his strides are longer . Always running smarter.
A half a second behind Bolt's time but Degrasse always slows at the finish line so I'm optimistic that he can match Bolt's time some day.
I'm always happy for him because he works so hard and he's a humble , good guy.
The one athlete that makes me proud to be Canadian.
He turned on that Turbo the last 40!
Degrasse struggled throughout summer but pulled this one off his bag of champions 👏🏿✊🏿🙌🏿
I called it. I FAWKing called it
Omfg!!! Way to go Andre! That’s an awesome time I can’t believe he pulled that out way to save his season
After Tobi Amusan's win, this is another win that gladdene my heart. So happy for him.
this man is insaine
0:34 look careful here, he pressed the gas like he did to bolt long time ago (when they were laughing), lol
if they weren't any injuries in his path man im telling you he would have been so much further than he is right now
Alls well that ends well
Those were all good times. 20.38 to finish last 😳
If mi proid one more time... never count the champ out.. down but not out.. 🥳🥳🥳❤🇯🇲
Big day guy
He always end the year well… that’s his trade mark…
"Dang! That last 50 meters by Andre. Like what???
Heeeeee'ssss Baaaaaaaaacckkkk !!!!! ❤
Man dem forward
🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦!!!
Bednarek actually thought this was in the bag on the bend.
That was actually a very good time. But i know Tebogo would have definitely beat that field.
Unpredictable
De Grasse grow back
Man, can he close in the last meters!
Great 👍 👌 race Andre. I am so happy you are back on track .
Decent
Bajan Trini power 🇧🇧 🇹🇹
0:19 lol it rhymes
No one can mow down De Grasse! 😅
Fahnbulleh is not ready for this lvl
Maybe the most underrated Sprinter of our Generation (which is weird with all the accolades he has)
A Healthy De Grasse can literally beat anyone
Except Noah lyles
@@Josephaitken7146he literally beat noah in Tokyo
Yes actually, he can beat even Noah Lyles
he cant beat lyles in the 200m now. Lyles is faster and can hold is speed longer.
@smerel9073 lyles became a machine after Tokyo. He hasn’t lost a 200 since
The list is increasing lyles will have a tough time next year in paris
Wow...
Sometimes I wonder how Degrasse choose his timing to peak can't be peak everytime due to injury..
What’s happened to fanbuellah?
Good question.
I think now that he turned pro he's still finding his rhythm and learning how to schedule
Well come back degrase after such a bad season
De grasse peaked to late this year
Man, Knighton proves yet again that his 19.49s was a complete outlier performance...
I believe he peaked early. I said this when I first saw him run the 19.49 but people think i was hating
Don't count him out just yet, he's still developing. Also, he's tired. Ran a full season.
@@Samzo2002 Yeah, who knows whether that was his peak already... All we know is that since that 19.49s performance, he hasn't come close to that time, not even remotely, which is weird given that some time has passed and given he would be, supposedly, developing along... Apparently he took some steps back.
@@honestbajan6877 I mean, supposedly he should be developing, but he is actually backpedaling since his 19.49s. I don't know what happened, but he's just not a 19.5s sprinter, like Lyles is, that's for sure... We'll see what the future holds!
You have to think…when you are a highschool or college athlete you literally race 24/7 as a sprinter and then when you pro, you literally race a quarter as much which takes time getting used to.
If you add the fact thats hes under 20 years old and is a US Champion and has 2 global medals…the whole argument seems pointless LOL.
where's lyles?
Why Lyles not competing?
Tired legs? He competed yesterday in the 100
Форму долго набирал из-за травмы
