hey folks, when you get the flu do you just buy over the counter meds and try to sleep it off? or do you schedule an appointment to the doctors asap? asking for engagement 🤧
OTC and sleep it off. I've never had a single doctor in my life do anything but take my temperature and tell me to go buy otc stuff, which...well, I already did that. Even less helpful when you're an adult and they tell you to stay home but won't give you a doctor's note so you're just going to work as a sick, drugged mess, lol.
@vairessunchaser4856 That sounds horrible! 😂 although really true. Sometimes, when I call in for a doctor's appointment, they'll schedule to see me in a weeks time. And I'm like, well, I'll prolly be dead by then, so forget it 😅 some of my friends get lucky and get antibiotics. But I'm usually just prescribed cough syrup 🤦🏾♂️
