I'm 53 years old, worked in insurance for 15 years, the majority of accident claims we see are actually people aged 40 and above, the peak is 80 years old. Experience comes into it but as of recently we're actually seeing a trend where younger drivers ARE better on the road and have less accident claims to insurance so I'm not entirely sure where that indirect ageist dig came from but its completely false from a statistical point of view

The cars on the main road do not have give way to the cars on the side road. If you think that is wrong, please tell me where in the highway code it says that you should. It does look like he speeds up a bit, but also the van was also slowing down so the gap closing could’ve been for both reasons. But that guy overtaking was really lucky given it was a junction too - that could’ve been very nasty.
At 2:10 the car involved in the crash isn’t exactly leaving sufficient time and space to the right himself. I would hazard a guess that the Van driver looked at the traffic coming from ahead and assessed he would be flowing( incorrect observations of course) but I can see how this happened.

When you think about it driving isn't that difficult. You use the steering wheel to point you in the direction you want to go, then you use the brake and accelerator to go quicker or slower. Why do so many people have trouble with this concept.

Some Drivers just don’t learn when it comes to buses. Some times you need to pull out or you sit there all day. And if you look in the Highway Code book, which sadly many don’t. You will see about giving way to bus drivers. But lots of impatient drivers in the world.

@@AzguardMike No you do not, the bus driver needs to read up on Rule 159 Before moving off you should use all mirrors to check the road is clear look round to check the blind spots (the areas you are unable to see in the mirrors) signal if necessary before moving out look round for a final check. Move off only when it is safe to do so.

And as an Englishman may I suggest you and your countrymen learn English correctly before moaning about foreigners English standards in the States. Both should have held back till the lorry was out of the way. The van driver was more at fault because he just didn’t stop or slow down enough at the line.
I have a feeling that management schedule an unrealistic amount of drops as a business model. Young relatively inexperienced drivers feel pressured to meet those expectations. Shitty driving is the result.

Some Drivers just don’t learn when it comes to buses. Some times you need to pull out or you sit there all day. And if you look in the Highway Code book, which sadly many don’t. You will see about giving way to bus drivers. But lots of impatient drivers in the world.

look round for a final check.

just like in the states drivers dont look like they have been in the country very long, here in the states a lot cant speak read or write english which happens to be a federal law to get a commercial license
Shut up pal, the standards to get a licence in the States are considerably lower than everywhere across western and eastern Europe, most of you drive automatics which is considerably easier than manual and yet you still drive appallingly. Locals near military bases in the UK that host US personal are warned to be mindful of American drivers and to EXPECT to come across dumb yanks that simply can't remember simple binary information i.e.America drive on the right UK drive on left. It has cost the lives of our citizens Google "Harry Dunn killed by American driver". Exactly the same near Australian military bases. TH-cam is full of view of yanks flapping like idiots driving in Britain, yet Brits drive all across Europe and never once has anyone found it difficult driving on the right in left hand drive vehicles which also have manual gearboxes, myself included. Nor do continental Europeans have trouble doing the same in the UK. You Americans have to be one of the worst in the western world for driving.
And as an Englishman may I suggest you and your countrymen learn English correctly before moaning about foreigners English standards in the States.
