Brilliant video mate. I wish I'd known how tricky a cocker can be before I starting training! I'd have searched out a specialist like yourself for training from the beginning. Now I'm trying to reel back an amazing but very driven 6 month old pup!
Hi, love watching your videos and have been trying to follow with my little 5 month old WCS, I have been trying with a fair bit of success to get him to retrieve, but the local dog trainer I'm looking at visiting says not to do it all.
Will it be ok to have taught him to retrieve?
I bred that litter, they are all good dogs. I train the litter brother for a client, they all live locally.

Mother is my ftw, her dam was one of the top bitches in the country winning 7 stakes 6 of which were opens, her sire also won 6 stakes/ 5 opens to name a few not one stake wonders like some champions these days but great consistency across their career.
They are lovely dogs and the sire of the pups was from one of the best and last litters from Saturn spirit. They are a little soft at times and need handling as such throughout their training and that can be seen by her being a bit flat in the video. The litter sister I have here is an absolute heathen hunting machine and a devil retriever from 4 months old with pace and style by the bucket full.
Her litter brother that I help train also every bit of enthusiasm of my bitch and will be an excellent dog. The young lady who owns him certainly has her hands full. Was a great litter for sure.

@@hampshirespanieltrainingwi9314 oh Cavtat is close to Dubrovnik. Very nice place you will enjoy it I have a friend there who is a falconer and been there many times. Try to visit "Konavoski dvori" very nice restaurant in Konavle what is just next to the Cavtat. I am in Karlovac city what is a half an hour drive from our capital Zagreb. Karlovac is in the middle of Croatia but 6.5hrs drive from Cavtat. I believe you are flying directly to Cavtat Airport so you are not going to Zagreb. In case you do, you have open invitation to visit us on our farm and see our goshawks and dogs. In the meantime I am just preparing to get male pup from England and will be probably flying to Manchester and visit a friend in Withwell Common. Anyhow, if you will drive trough Croatia you can't not to pass next to Karlovac and invitation is open to you 🙂 Cheers Viktor

How old is Chili?
This was a clients dog and I can't actually remember now apologies but not too old
