14:03 That man wasn't seeking forgiveness. He was seeking judgement. He felt so awful for what he did and that guilt clung to him so much that he wanted to be punished for it.
It's the same with Reiner getting to his knees and taking all the blame for Eren's mom dying. The guilt of all the terror and death he caused for what he realized were just normal people was too much for him. He wants to die, and he sees Eren as the perfect person to be the judge and executioner for his sins.

@@mustardyboi4187 No bro. The whole world was already influenced thru Willy speech. Eren "stealing" the Founding Titan was already a huge reason to unite against Paradis. Yes they don't like Marley. But they HATE & DISPISE the Paradis. But what Willy is doing by the speech was to be the focal point & be the victim in front of their eyes so that Merley can mobilize the whole world & expedite their plan. Thats why Eren's only choice was to attack them first. Cus if they don't by the end of the speech Marley would have the world by their palm & Paradis will be doomed unprepared. By Erens attacking them atleast they bought Paradis some time while disabling Marley for a moment. So yes, without Eren they would still attack Paradis just not as fast.

What an episode! You'd expect Eren to be seething of rage and vitriol towards Reiner, instead he completely empathises and almost even forgives him for the first attack. He isn't doing this because of hate or revenge, he understands most are just people trying to get by day to day, yet he's going to do it anyway. He truly believes it's the only way, which makes it even more terrifying.

Even if the king decided not to fight, Marley "had" to invade the island after they realized someone (Grisha) was holding the attack titan on there, since he was already going to look for the founding titan.

This is the best declaration of war I've ever seen, now yes, Marley woke up the sleeping titan, let them suffer the consequences.
Reiner was just a kid he didn’t understand a thing about they did, and when he started to understand it he went crazy. But eren is older now he knows exactly what he’s doing. I know we love eren but dude just went terrorist here, and we still found ourselves vouching for him. AOT storyline is amazing
no he didn't go terrorist. marley just declared war against paradise island. what he did was a premptive strike against the people that just declared war on his people

@@kevinage2332 yeah, because the declaration of war was decided weeks ago in the story. And marley has been killing innocent eldian civilians for decades. Erin crippled Marley's command structure and main fleet in this strike. It's on them for turning a declaration of war into a play.

@infaredreactions No. Eren was explaining that he has to keep moving forward. He has changed a great deal. This isn't about revenge anymore or the anger he had before. He understands more about the world now and he found his own answer to what he feels he must do.
The thing is as Eren explains, it's not about revenge. He is doing this because he think he has to. Marley is actively declaring war without Eren's involvement in the first place. Eren doesn't really have a choice in fighting. He does have a choice in how he fights though. He chose a tactically strong location to launch his attack which will allow him to take out top Marley generals but will also cause civilian casualties. I wouldn't call what he did good but it's understandable.
Exactly. Marley was already planning Paradis operation second time. If eren would not have attacked at this point then the whole world would have assembled with a huge technologically advanced army to butcher Paradis. He refused to let that happen. And as the show goes on we will see that Eren tried his best before taking drastic measures. Bcuz in his mind he only wanted freedom and peace. But the world would not let him have it. So there was no other choice.

One of the great things about AoT is that Eren really hasn't changed. All the traits that made him the protagonist we cheered for in the first three seasons are still there. He's not suddenly corrupted by evil. He's ALWAYS been this way.

So the titans inside the walls aren't exactly Colossal Titans like the one Armin possesses. They are shorter and aren't one of the 9 who can titan shift.

@@yeahboiii6187 They are not because the Colossal Titan (Armin's titan) is 60 m tall. Remember, that way back when the walls were first breached, the Colossal Titan towered over even those walls (the walls are 50 m tall). Therefore, the wall titans can be no more than 50 m tall, but I would argue that taking into account their wall-hardening abilities, they are probably slightly shorter than that.

The story states that the miner tried digging under the wall but hit something that he could never pass, the titans feet were 10 meters down into the ground meaning they are the same size as the normal colossal titan

King Fritz is underrated. He was a peaceful man who used his power to protect his people without having to fight anyone. He set his people up for generations of peace, its not hi sfault it didnt last.
