that was an absolutely amazing portrayal of the story telling, making miguel have much more depth (than it already had), highlighting his character's story's downfall along with the pain and sacrifices he made

I think the situation with Miguel is the "everything is possible" argument.
Sure, its all possible, but not always likely.
"Is it worth the risk?" Is the question Miguel's character posits. Its all fun and games till we find out Miles can't do everything.... then its a whole other level of self reflection.

Woooww!! This was just awesome, great edit man. I love how you portrayed his character and the whole story in general, making Miguel look like a flawed character that is trying to do the right thing, to spare anyone(Miles as well) from the same experience he had! Keep making these tho!!
(also I do not look at Miguels speech to Miles as "hate speech", guy was just frustrated and let it all out, he doesnt hate him, nor did he try to kill him. ofc he could have done it a bit differently but... oh well.. we got what we got in the movie. But that is just my opinion tho 🤷♀)

I think the last line, “You’re just a kid who has no idea what he’s doing!” Can in a way be applied to Miguel. He says himself that he’s gone too far to stop now-which isn’t true. To say that is to first acknowledge that he had the option to stop in the first place. And he doesn’t because, well, I don’t think he entirely knows what he’s doing. As in he, he isnt willing to understand what he’s doing.
Because he destroyed a world with his selfishness, he believes that he must apply those same stakes to others. We see at the end of the movie that canon can be changed safely, as Gwen’s dad steps down from being captain. But not only does Miguel literally not see that, figuratively, I don’t think he could. He made a grievous mistake and has developed a martyr complex centered around the idea that the bad things that happened to him were inevitable, they couldn’t be helped. And they have to be, because if they’re not, if bad things happened to him at the whim of the universe and the first flaw was in himself, and this whole time he’s been off the deep end, then his martyr complex collapses. And without that… if he isn’t this selfless martyr who has seen the error of his ways and is in eternal repentance, then what is he?
