I'm a retired motor mechanic, I've owned my R53 Pathy for 2 years now and love it. With it's VQ35DD engine and 9 speed close ratio ZF Transmission is nothing short of being a well executed masterpiece.
I was a diehard pathfinder collector I had three... the 1995 green, one with Pathfinder on the back glass and the tire and those aluminum alloy wheels that looked like a tank that was the best model they ever had. That's what everybody wants to see back with the same kind of engine and design. They ran forever. Three hundred thousand miles and all you had to do was change the time and belt.
I have a 2023 Rock Creek, loving it, much better than my 2020 Pilot (7 recalls), with this Pathfinder no recalls, nice torque, tow capacity 6000 lbs, roomy, nice design, clean engine and trans, simple and reliable, now with 47500 miles still is an eye catcher, nice review
Between 2025 Pathfinder and 2025 Pilot, which one did you find smoother, with smooth shifts? Also, I know you did not test drive comparable trims, but which did you find had an overall quieter ride?
I am currently looking at SUV's, planning to purchase next year soon. The Pathfinder is on my list, and I looked at one. Main needs are third row seating, navigation, and towing for a kayak on a trailer. Other than that, the accessories will vary. Any recommendations on what trims to look at besides the Rock Creek. Looking at 2WD and 4WD
It's one of the better buys on the market for its function, but boy has Pathfinder ever strayed from its roots. Would love to see Nissan give them a more boxy design again.
i have the '22 Pathy SL Premium package, hated these OEM Hankook Dynapro HP2 tires, only lasted 2.5 yrs 28,000 miles with tread almost gone. I replaced it with the almighty Falken AT TRAIL (same tire size) and looks/performs even better. yes it's 5 lbs heavier but no big difference so far on the gas mpg, and yes folks --------- it's QUIET in case if you're wondering. 90 m/hr on the freeway and no noise. Haven't tried out on winter time.
there's 3 on the bottom left of the mirror on my 2024 Platinum 4x4 gun metal grey, I suppose 1 is for your gate the other is for either of 2 garage doors.
Didn't these new pathfinder still had tramission issue with the 9 speed tranny? I remember when it just came out a couple months later there were issues or /investigation recalls for them. Man Nissan just can't make a good transmission cut or automatic. Really unfortunate as I think design wise of the vehicle they look nice
Yes I learned the hard way about these stupid transmissions LOL I bought a 2014 Pathfinder. But that transmission was garbage. We ended up buying a 2019 Highlander.
YALL NEED TO STOOOOP SAYING 3rd ROW IS FOR KIDS ON GH AND PATHFINDER! I can fit my aunt and 2 adult cousins easily back there and I can’t convince my husband of that because his 6ft gringo head can’t fathom that after y’all drilled into his head that 3 row suvs only fit kids inside! 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡 I NEEEED a 3 row to carry everyone in 1 vehicle when they come visit! So just bloody stop underselling these damn vehicles! 😡😡😡😡

When the Pathfinder gonna get a face-lift, it's out sense 2022
2027?
@davidlhgfreedom I think maybe 2025 because Nissan Rogue gets updated 2024 so Pathfinder should be after it

Nissan Pathfinder is Lost of Tug of War by Toyota Highlander
Toyota ruined the highlander. 😂
@@magnoliap5824 Yes, Pathfinder it's Sucker, Rubbish, & He is Blah3x
@rakhsiprayogo82 the highlander is an ugly, outdated turbo banger
